This is a simple restaurant in a shopping plaza. Don't expect anything fancy but you will be rewarded with excellent food. You wouldn't expect to find shawarma, humus and falafel in Los Alamos but here it is, along with a tasty Greek Salad, really lemony tabouli and fresh pita. Prices are extremely reasonable.

New kind of restaurant for us and the flavors and spices were wonderful! Locals love it! We did too!

Pyramid Cafe is better than good. They serve Mediteranean food and it very good. The service is a little slow, but they get right.

Preparation is very good to excellent. A surprising variety of choices, some we've never seen anywhere else. Decor is very average, which is actually a plus compared to many of the out-of-place efforts at "elegance" in Northern New Mexico. This is the Los Alamos branch of a chain we haven't visited elsewhere, but no worries. If you're in the mood... More

I'm a huge fan of Greek food. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by our visit to the Pyramid Cafe. The service was extremely slow, except for the young man filling and refilling our water glasses. Our appetizer sampler was tasty. Unfortunately it didn't come out with nearly enough pita for the hummus. And getting more took forever. When our entrees finally... More

After a long day on the road we wanted a quiet place with food that wasn't New Mexican. We absolutely got the atmosphere/acoustics that we wanted. I'm hardly an expert on Greek food but my Gyro reminded me of the ones I used to eat in Chicago in the 1970's - a good thing. My better half thought his chicken... More

A wide selection on the menu, including lamb, which my husband loves. Also lots of vegetarian dishes.

For reasons many of us in Los Alamos have puzzled over, fine dining does not exist here. But the Pyramid is the closest we can come to fine dining along with one other restaurant. I eat at both often and have found dishes I love there including the lamb salad, and lamb souvlaki, lamb tagine, lamb shanks, green chile salad... More

We were excited to try Pyramid and very unimpressed with the food. We tried the Chicken Tagine with preserved lemon, the Greek Salad and the Roasted Chili salad. We tasted no preserved lemon in the chicken and spices were minimal. Greek salad was basic and a non-event. If we hadnn't ordered the chie salad, which improved the chicken, the meal... More
