I am the co-owner of a B&B in Jemez Spring, NM. We have had many guests tell us that they had eaten at the Blue Window and were very happy with the experience. While in Los Alamos for a quick trip to the grocery store, my wife and I went in for lunch. The place was packed as we arrived... More

Los Alamos has plenty of places to eat, some of them quite good, but this is currently the only real place in town where one can "dine" rather than just eating. The ambience, staff, kitchen and menu are all well suited for staying a while, enjoying something from the solid wine list, and talking with friends while waiting for something... More

We visited for dinner and it was great. The atmosphere and decoration is very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! We were surprised to find such type of restaurant in a place like Los Alamos.

The Blue Window offers a wide variety of menu selections of both traditional New Mexican foods as well as American favorites. Their luncheon salads are large and made with fresh chrisp greens. My favorite is their chopped salad. Their enchiladas are excellent to. The Blue window occasionally hosts special events for the community. The appetizers and wine offered at a... More

Cute place for lunch with a very good menu. Lots of great choices. We had the Greek Salmon Salad, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chopped Romaine Hearts, Grape Tomatoes, Crumbled Feta, Kalamatta Olives, Red Onion, Cucumbers, Greek Vinaigrette, and the Buffalo Burger served with a choice of fresh-cut fries, a small salad, coleslaw, or a cup of soup du jour.

We arrived in Los Alamos at about 1:30 and were glad to find the Blue Window still serving lunch to a full house. We got a table after a short wait and read over the fairly large menu that had a good variety of choices. The beer list was impressive. The three of us each had different lunches; a blue... More

Great restaurant on the main street of Los Alamos. My wife and I each had a salad and a draft beer. The salads (chicken and salmon) were very fresh and the draft beer was excellent as well. A very nice little restaurant for an unexpected lunch.

If you have been to Los Alamos you know your options are fairly few. This choice for us was a good one. Lets start with the service was great. Very attentive without hovering over us. Very knowledgeable about the menu. I know it seems strange to mention that but more often than not we find that just isn't the case.... More

Stopped here while visiting the Bradbury Science Museum. The parking lot is big, but hard to find a space for good reason. The Salmon Blue Corn tacos were amazing. The kids gobbled their chicken tenders and noodle plates and were given free ice cream desserts.
