The Blue Window is an amazing restaurant. I make it a point to eat there at least once every time I'm in Los Alamos to visit family, and I have been blown away every time! The atmosphere alone is wonderful, but add that to the mouthwatering food and outstanding service and you get the best restaurant in Los Alamos! Last... More

We had a great dining experience at Blue Window. Prompt, courteous, and informative service. Food was great, we had the Mediterranean seafood pasta and the southwest chicken. Overall the prices are reasonable, maybe a little on the high side.

All the praise of this restaurant must come from people who haven't experienced excellence. We found the food very average. They certainly haven't a knowledge of how a Cobb salad is made, or we were given what they thought they could get away with. The server Also like to grab plates while one is still eating. Pretty rude and unschooled.

I wasn't expecting such sublime perfection from this unassuming but charming restaurant.I was blown away by the quality of the food ...and the care taken in the kitchen. I was with a large group of people for an eve of wedding dinner. The owner was there and it was all hands on deck on that evening. The staff and the... More

I've dined at the Blue Window Bistro for almost 20 years, and never had a dish that wasn't delicious. Lunch or dinner, food is always fresh and expertly prepared. Service is prompt and professional. Restaurant is very pretty, sunny and clean. Prices are reasonable. If you are visiting Los Alamos, locaton is very close to museum and Fuller Lodge. Don't... More

Although the vegetation entrees were limited the few available were delicious, my companions reported. I had the Southwest Chicken which, five days later, I'm still dreaming about and will try to replicate on my own. The service was excellent. All around the best in Los Alamos. I have never written a review before but I find TripAdvisor is so honest... More

It was great 20 years ago, and is still great. The food is excellently prepared, with something for everyone. The staff is very accommodating, and the service is nice. We will go back when in town!

Started with the blue corn calamari..and it was good, but lots of small pieces, not many big rings, in the end rate this just above average. Then we moved on to the goat cheese/fig/prosciutto salad, and this was really lovely albeit could've used a bit more goat cheese, then we went to the southwest chicken was really a delicious dish,... Not too many restaurants in Los Alamos. This is probably the best one in town. A good place for dinner. A variety of local and usual menu favorites. The local cuisine and pork chops are good. Outdoor seating available if the weather is good.

great food and service. The menu read "Brooklyn Reuben" and when we informed the staffer that we were from Brooklyn she responded that she was from Long Island. Anyway, besides the inevitability of running into NY people anywhere the reuben was great
