You have to eat at Viola's if in Los Alamos

Viola's is wonderful. The food is delicious New Mexican cuisine, service is fast and friendly. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, and closes at 2 or 3 (not sure). A local restaurant worth visiting.

Got the combo plate to try lots of things. Taco was good, chicken and beef enchiladas were about average for my taste. Sopaipillas were great. Chips were a bit stale, but salsa was good and the guacamole was great. Prices are good, busy for lunch.

Viola's has been an icon in this town for many years. Since Viola past away a few years back, her son has done a wonderful job following in her footsteps. It is still a well visited restaurant from locals and they bring their guests here as well. There's a combination of American dishes, Mexican and breakfast. I have NEVER been... More

I really over the French toast! But what is really great about this place is the friendly and family environment. You really feel like home!

Anyone interested in New Mexico home style food will love this place. A favorite locals cafe for lunch and breakfast, I recommend going a bit off-hour to avoid the rush. The stable staff of Viola's consistently serves one of the best red-chile (caribe) enchiladas in Northern New Mexico. All their food, however, is first-rate-home-style-New-Mexico-grandmother fare, and not the gloppy overdone... More

We Eat there at least once a week! It's a family affair place, not fancy, but consistently great food. If you go in to eat between 11:15 and 12:15, expect a line, but it goes quickly...so wait!

First, the address listed above is decades old. Viola's is located between Los Alamos National Bank and 15th Street. Each time I visit Violas, the staff is excellent. Once seated, the service is incredibly fast. I can't get through new Facebook posts before the food arrives hot from the kitchen. The wait staff is then attentive keeping my iced tea... More

Went for lunch, had a burger which came out very fast. Atmosphere is nothing special but staff was friendly. Not open for dinner, breakfast and lunch only. Food was good nothing special.
