Different Mexican food than I am used to in Roswell, NM but oh so plentiful and delicious. Quite busy at lunch time but then the locals love it too! Would go again.

Violas is charming for its down-to-earth lack of attitude and delivering on the basics. Small, family run, very pleasant staff. The food is straight down the middle. Basically northern new mexico diner food. Nothing I have had here yet screams OMG, To Die For, but if you order a burger, you'll get a burger. Order enchiladas, you'll get enchiladas. You... More

we came in for an ealy lunch, and we did good. we came in at 11:25 and found a tablr right away. by 12:00 the place was packed full with a line of about 10 people waiting to be seated. the service was understandably a bit slow, but the food was excellent. We were actually looking for a different restaurant but got turned around and happened to find Viola's - turns out it was a lucky break. There's nothing fancy about this place, but the food was exceptional. Everything was fresh and tasted like what you'd expect to get from your grandma's house, if your grandma made excellent New Mexican dishes. Loved... More

You wouldn't expect this place to be that good, or at least I didn't. But I've eaten here a few times, and if you don't mind the atmosphere (or lack thereof), the food is really great. Viola's has something here. Now if only they could clean up their place and decorate/renovate.

Please, this place is not on Central Park Sq., hasn't been for 11 years, but owners told us, they can't get anyone to change it. At least TA has a picture of it, so I will add that it is on Trinity in the old KFC building. We all opted for the Green Chili Soup with Beans. Probably one of... More

Really good breakfast burrito, large with green chillies. Well stuffed with potatoes, eggs, sausage and cheese. Honey on table, coffee kept full.

When I lived in Los Alamos, I used to have breakfast at Viola's Restaurant every Friday morning, often with friends. Located in an old KFC building on Trinity Drive, Viola's is not fancy, but the food is good and the service is very friendly. I especially enjoy their green chile and their red chile, which are classic Northern New Mexican... More

Oldest remaining restaraunt in town. Excellent Southwest Mexican food. Always enjoy the food and have weekday specials reasonably priced and fast service.
