They provide a nice variety of pretty good Mexican food for breakfast and lunch on Highway 550 between Aztec, NM and Durango, CO. The decor/utensils/dishes are standard inexpensive restaurant fare... The location is right off of Hwy 550 so could be a little loud with trucks driving by; but was quiet when we ate there this last time.

Update. Went back last week after anticipating a return. Still incredibly good! But -- the owner has sold the restaurant (sans recipes!) and her last day is this Saturday

It would be easy to speed by this place -- pretty much the only restaurant between Durango and Farmington - but don't! The array of pickup trucks out front ought to clue you in - this is a place with some seriously good food. The owners clearly take pride in their work, and the food is just superb. Do not... More
