While touring Berlin we needed a place to eat. After reviewing their menu, this looked like a nice place to stop. The place was nice inside and and the sandwiches and salads were great. The cheese and jam appetizer was a bit disapponing, and I felt overpriced. There is also a nice tap beer selection.

Where do we start? The Globe is a converted theatre that makes great use of its space. The main floor has a stage where they have live music. We were upstairs... The menu is very well thought out. You have a great variety but not overwhelming. With a table of eight we ordered apps and main meals. The onion rings... More

We may return to Berlin, MD, because of our experience at The Globe. Interesting menu choices, great food (one of the best crab cakes on our trip on the Eastern Coast) with nice presentation, friendly service and staff and historic atmosphere with opportunities for some great nighttime live music! Check out their daily schedule since they appear to fill up... More

I am so happy we decided to visit Berlin and eat at The Globe. It is a renovated movie theater that was originally a building that housed horses and carriages in 1910. It was converted to a theater in 1917. This place is full of charm. The food was really good too. Everyone was so very polite too. We were... More

We spent a couple of afternoons walking around Berlin. Things were so much quieter and more peaceful than at Ocean City. I knew that I wanted to eat at the Globe and it was the best experience of our trip!!!! From the moment we were greeted until we left, we were never disappointed. Our waitress was so very kind, suggesting... More

For years after golfing, my husband and I would drive through downtown Berlin, Maryland, but we would never stop. This year, there were signs indicating "The Coolest Town in Amercia for 2014". So we decided to stop and have lunch. We wondered around and found our way in The Globe. The decor was very interesting. The walls were covered by... More

Service for lunch at The Globe on a summer weekday afternoon was excellent. Jessica was attentive and our drink and food orders arrived promptly. A majority of our party enjoyed soup & salad entrees, while others dined on crab cake sandwiches, a local favorite, and cream of crab soup. We really enjoyed the old movie theatre atmosphere and all the... More
