Hello and thank you for visiting the La Hacienda review page. First I would like to stress that we are not part of "ANY" chain. La Hacienda is locally owned and operated. All of our dishes are made "FRESH" on order, with hand rolled enchiladas, burritos, tacos, and fresh chilies used in our chili rellenos. All of our sauces are homemade with fresh roasted ingredients daily. We use only the freshest ingredients, and have some gluten free and vegetarian meal options. So, if your looking for good fresh on order food, this is your place. P.S.!!!- Everybody says we have the best margaritas in town!!! Also made with freshly squeezed limes...

A fresh start for an old standby

La Hacienda has changed hands and the new owners have some great ideas and flavors to share with Moab. The menu is smaller than it used to be, but the offerings more creative. As always, the first impression is made by the chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and fresh tasting and the salsa was... read more

John at the inca inn suggested that we try there and it was great. The sweet pork burrito was huge and very good. I highly recommend this restaurant

We just had a great meal at La Hacienda. John and Jennifer (chef/owners) are doing a great job - wonderful recipes. The restaurant is very attractive, service is excellent. If you are in Moab and love Mexican food, eat here. Very flavorful!

If you like fish tacos, their Ahi tacos are amazing! The Monterey Cream Enchiladas were yummy. Excellent homemade beans and rice. I wasn't as crazy about chips and salsa but everything else was great including fried ice cream and service! Definitely tried the fried ice cream. It's in a crisp shell with fruit.

We ate here both nights in Moab, because the food was so great. Two of the other couples we met also ate here. Their only complaint was that there was too much food!

Was really hoping for an improved experience with the new owners. Atmosphere was the same. The staff was absent though. Hostess had "just showed up" so she had trouble seating 4 people while one person was in the restroom. The rest of the staff acted like they had just been hired and never served in a restaurant. Water glasses were... More

In my rankings 3=meets expectations, 4=exceeds. We were seated and promptly served a big helping of fresh chips and salsa by a very nice staff. Our chicken quesadilla was tasty and bigger than we were expecting. Adequate beer selection with local options. Nice overall vibe; it's clear that the owners and staff care about what they do.

Great food, generous portions, attentive staff, casual atmosphere. Staff was attentive and responsive to my specific requests regarding preparation of my meal. Top drawer experience. Will be back early and often.

Food was good and the portion size was huge. Definitely left feeling like I got my money's worth. Unfortunately, our booth was positioned near the wait staff area. Overheard a lot of inappropriate conversation while eating. Felt like I was eating at someone's home instead of a restaurant.
