Stopped in after enjoying the sunset in Arches. Sat at the bar and ordered clams casino, Ceasar salad, and a sausage sampler. Everything was very nicely presented and tasty. The sausage sampler had boar, elk, and buffalo sausage. I liked the boar the most. The dipping sauce was a perfect companion to the meats! The drinks were plenty strong and... More

This restaurant came highly recommended to us by some locals but it was somewhat disappointing. The food was average with small portions and extremely high prices. I ordered the meatloaf and it came out only 1 slice about 1/2 inch thick. The restaurant and patio are very clean and service was good.

We had a great dinner st Buck's. We ate on the back terrace and each of our four dinner was tasty. Some game-bison- on the menu. Some Mexican. Good wine selection. It was a bit out of town, which was a nice change. We'll go back on on our next trip to Moab!

I recently visited Moab, Utah to visit the nearby Arches National Park. I was only in Moab for 1 dinner and already decided to visit Buck's after seeing them on Food Paradise. I am a foodie and love to cook at home so, I do appreciate the art and passion that chefs put into their dishes. The Buffalo Meatloaf was... More

Interesting menus. However, the food was not terrible. It just was not good enough for the expectations of the price and ambiance.

great menu - very fresh and interesting with lots of choices, not just BBQ. I got fish - presentation was nice too. The drinks were good as they had dark and storms... and they had a nice beer selection. It was really convenient to our hotel too and you could also eat outside but on our night it was too... More

Make no mistake about it, if you are a vegetarian you will see this as one of the steps in Dante's hell. But if you are a meat eater this is definitely your place. And, all done well, no matter your desire. From bison to elk, cow to pig, they have it all and its all prepared in a delectable... More

We arrived shortly before closing but were treated very nicely by the staff. The meal, while not inexpensive, was of reasonable value. Each of the four in our group had a very nice dinner and were not pressed to hurry out by the staff. Our waitperson was friendly and helpful and the wine list was pretty good. I would return.

I spent a week in Moab to explore Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Parks. I had dinner at Buck's twice. It gets really busy so definitely make reservations. Their special is the buffalo meatloaf, which was featured on Travel Channels' Meatloaf Paradise episode. Naturally I had that my first day and then had to try the elk stew the second.... More

We were referred to Buck's Grill House by the manager of our bed and breakfast. My husband had been wanting to have a Bison burger and he wasn't disappointed! It was topped with duck bacon and bleu cheese and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I am not as adventurous and the waiter recommended a crepe filled with shredded beef that was... More
