They are very gluten free aware at this Japanese restaurant in the desert. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, and if it isn't then they will make it that way, even the tempura. Very friendly and accommodating. A must visit for gluten free in Moab.

Who would have thought to find a sushi restaurant in Utah, and a very good one at that? Well, here it is. The sushi was very tasty (we had king salmon and tuna, both excellent, and California roll). Main courses: grilled chicken (rather spicy) and seared salmon (recommended!). Dessert: tempura bananas with vanilla ice cream and dark chocolate (yummy). Excellent... More

So we understand it's hard finding good sushi in the desrt and for that we're very impressed. My husband got the sashimi and I got the spider roll, which was my first. Food was really good and atmosphere was nice but it seemed very expensive for the size of the portions. If you're craving sushi though, go for it!!

Fresh sushi in the desert can be hard to believe, but they did it well! I gave the chef my preferences, then let him decide what kind of roll to make. Delicious! He was also friendly and recommended some activities.

Who would expect a killer sushi joint in Moab? We pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service and the vibe. Price is justified given the freshness of the fish and overall quality. Highly recommended!

We spent 4 days in Moab visiting Arches and Canyonlands. We ate at Sabaku twice. There was a wait both evenings, but just a few minutes. The staff was very friendly, serivce was good and fast, and the sushi was excellent. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh, as they advertise. They have the traditional rolls, and they have a... Coming from LA, we were wondering how in the heck Moab could have a respectable sushi place, with no proximity to fresh fish markets. They actually fly in fresh fish from Hawaii every other day. We loved the sushi and ambiance and would recommend this place for sure.
