If we get to make a return trip to Moab, I would probably choose one of the restaurants we didn't try over a return trip to this one, but if we were back here, I would have the Southwest Edamame again. We had the Hidden Valley Roll, the Avacado Roll, and the daily special. We eat a lot of sushi... More

We did not expect to find sushi of this caliber in Moab! The food was great - definitely recommend the spicy edamame and the delicate arch roll. The atmosphere felt like it was a local hideout and we felt lucky to be the tourists trying to blend in. The staff was great and we felt right at home! Highly recommended!!

We were in Moab on a very busy Saturday night. We waited awhile for a seat at this sushi restaurant and it was well worth it. Despite the crowd, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a very nice vegetarian sushi roll, salad and salmon cooked with veggies. It was all excellent. The house sake was the best... More

Believe the reviews and go here. On Tuesday-Thursday, they have reduced prices from 5-6pm. My BF and I arrived on Tuesday at 4:50pm (during off-season) to find out we were 4th in line waiting for the doors to open at 5pm. Within 20 minutes the place was packed and people were waiting at the door. We sat at the sushi... More

We put our poor little waitress through hell. It was my, probably 5th time ordering sushi at a sushi restaurant, but I do not claim to be an expert by no means. I took my friend, my mom, and my kids here because they wanted to try sushi and we heard this place was actually pretty good. Poor waitress. We... More

My husband absolutely loves this place! We were here 3 yrs ago and he hasn't stopped talking about how great the sushi is here. He loves how the sushi chefs are preparing the food in front of you and even though I don't like sushi, their chicken dish was good.

Sabaku is a bit unusual. First of all, the sushi chefs are white guys. Also, the place is lively. Finally, it is some of the best, original sushi that I've had in a long time. Who would have thought it, right in the middle of Moab, Utah. Go!

I've sushi'd in Japan and around the US. This is probably the 3rd best I've had - and that's amazing for Moab! The amazing part of our experience at Sabaku is not just the quality of the sushi, but the unique twist Sabaku spins on Utah sushi. We tried three rolls, and our favorite was the "Delicate Arch". This is... More

A hostess is suppose to welcome you to a restaurant hopefully with a smile. In this reataurant the hostess enjoys saying "no". I think it's a power thing since the place is very busy. If you can get past the hostess and get a seat at the sushi bar, the service is excellent! The sushi is made by the chef... More

Read about its good reviews so thought of giving it a try. But we were not impressed with the food, especially the price and the portion served. Overpriced I would say. And on top of that, the mandatory charge of 18% tips for a party of three (2 adults + 1 child) was just too much. Would not visit again.
