I can't recommend this restaurant highly effort. Sushi in the middle of a landlocked town could be a risk but I can honestly say this is the best Japanese I have eaten outside of Japan. The lovely English Sallie looked after us and not only knew the menu back to front but was a wealth of local knowledge, that our... More

I wasn't expecting great sushi in Moab, but Sabaku is really good. Three of us shared several rolls and loved each one. The staff were super friendly and gave us great recommendations. A nice change from pizza joints and pub fare...well done!

We were surprised to find such great tasting sushi in Moab. We have returned several times and have never been disappointed. The sushi is overnighted daily from Hawaii and tastes very fresh. Their sashimi and nigiri is excellent, the rolls that we have tried are great as well.

This sweet, charming restaurant off the main drag in Moab sends two very different vibes. A friendly hostess put us at the sushi bar where we enjoyed delicious and very well prepared rolls that we never expected in the middle of nowhere. Great ingredients and skillful preparation. However, the sushi chefs were weirdly uncomfortable and downright unfriendly. Kind of rude,... More

I did notice that prices for restaurants were higher than I was used to. You are out in the middle of the desert so I guess that's why. However, the sushi was not too overpriced. It was also pretty tasty. We liked Sunshine roll and Delicate Arch. Service was good.

If we get to make a return trip to Moab, I would probably choose one of the restaurants we didn't try over a return trip to this one, but if we were back here, I would have the Southwest Edamame again. We had the Hidden Valley Roll, the Avacado Roll, and the daily special. We eat a lot of sushi... More

We did not expect to find sushi of this caliber in Moab! The food was great - definitely recommend the spicy edamame and the delicate arch roll. The atmosphere felt like it was a local hideout and we felt lucky to be the tourists trying to blend in. The staff was great and we felt right at home! Highly recommended!!

We were in Moab on a very busy Saturday night. We waited awhile for a seat at this sushi restaurant and it was well worth it. Despite the crowd, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a very nice vegetarian sushi roll, salad and salmon cooked with veggies. It was all excellent. The house sake was the best... More

Believe the reviews and go here. On Tuesday-Thursday, they have reduced prices from 5-6pm. My BF and I arrived on Tuesday at 4:50pm (during off-season) to find out we were 4th in line waiting for the doors to open at 5pm. Within 20 minutes the place was packed and people were waiting at the door. We sat at the sushi... More

We put our poor little waitress through hell. It was my, probably 5th time ordering sushi at a sushi restaurant, but I do not claim to be an expert by no means. I took my friend, my mom, and my kids here because they wanted to try sushi and we heard this place was actually pretty good. Poor waitress. We... More
