This restaurant is well located, and the outdoor deck (with umbrellas) has a good view of the surroundings, including the old B&O RR mainline. Service was friendly but a bit on the slow side -- understandable because it was crowded. Our sandwiches were average -- not bad, but nothing all that interesting either. Prices were typical of a tourist town... More

I was impresses by the portions, and the price. I had a pastrami sandwich for lunch, and it was piled high with meat. Not to mention it was delicious, for about 9 dollars. I forgot what my wife had, but she was equally pleased. We sat on the patio and watched the trains go by while sipping beer. There was... More

Returned here after several years, looked for Secret 6 to discover this restuarant changed ownership. Food priced well considering it's sitting in the middle of historic Harpers Ferry. Sandwiches are about $10. Got a Reuben, it was great and would order it again. Came with chips. Saw the burgers, they were huge. Others in party enjoyed everything. Service was great.... More

We came with a group of 12 of us before going on the ghost tour. The service was prompt and friendly and the food excellent. I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked. We were there on a very cold evening so couldn't eat on the deck but it looked like it would be really nice on a summer... More

When you sit on the outdoor deck, you see the mountainside and you see the train station and passing trains. Very nice deck. I ordered the pasta dish, "chicken parmesan" for dinner and it was quite odd because the chicken was cut into small pieces and mixed-in with the pasta. I have never gotten chicken parm served like that, not... More

Sought out this place after reading reviews on Harpers Ferry restaurants. We sat outside on elevated deck and had a beer and onion rings - which were very good. The sauce was especially good. The service was not great - a bit slow, had to ask for plates and silverware - and check.

We very much enjoyed our meal at the Potomac Grille, located in the heart of the historic district. We sat outside on the deck and took in the scenery. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions generous....the filet mignon was a daily special , included two vegetables and rolls, and moderately priced at $21.00. The cheese steak... Mrs. Too and I were having a grand time exploring Harper's Ferry again, on foot of course, when the tummy rumbling started. We were about halfway up the hill on High Street, and queried a passing docent about a lunch spot. "Why, right next door at the Potomac Grille" said he. Good advice, as it turned out. We passed through... More

My family and I went here on vacation last summer. I went there based on the other reviews of this place and I was not disappointed. I had the burger. My mother had a turkey sandwich, my father a Reuben sandwich, and my uncle and cousins had the chicken quesadilla. Everyone loved their meals, especially me. It was the biggest... More

I found the answer to this question within another review below, they are frozen patties. Four of us had lunch here on a nice and warm October afternoon. The deck did provide beautiful views of the surroundings. I was looking forward to the hamburger and I asked our server how it was, she said she loves them. Great!, I'll have... More
