When you visit Bolivar, WV, which is 'right against' Harper's Ferry, WV, be sure and look for this restaurant. It's on a residential street and looks a bit messy on the porch entrance, but the inside is indeed charming and cozy. The food is excellent but a bit pricey and we have had no wait for our meals as other... More

The homemade salsa and chips are very delicious! All of the food our party of 7 ordered was good. The one thing that was not appealing was wait! The very first thing our waitress said was the kitchen was behind and things would take a while. Since we were in no hurry we were ok with a little wait. Once... More

Sloppy blob of a waitress was short with us and seemed as though we were bothering her. Took ten minutes to get a soda. Food is TREMENDOUSLY overpriced. $12 salads?? Really??

Spent the day in Harpers' Ferry wandering around soaking up the history and the great views of the surrounding area. This place is in the upper town and a good walk from the older historic area. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was friendly and quick despite of handling the entire lunch crowd by herself. The "blackened" burger... More

This place was a short walk from where we stayed, and it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We had filled up and wine and snacks before arriving, so we decided to just order coffee and dessert. When we walked in, a waitress immediately asked if we'd like to sit in the dining room or... I was looking for a restaurant that could hold 15 people after a white water tubing trip. They can certainly hold that many people and they have plenty of parking. They are about one mile outside of town and the main historical area. I do not suggest organizing a large group for a meal in town since parking is horrible.... More

I live and work nearby. I have their crab cakes every time--very good! Have been for friends' lunch; business lunch; and office holiday party. They handled all these gatherings well.

Since we were in town on a romantic getaway, we were looking for a nicer place to eat one night, and given the lack of decent restaurants in Harper's Ferry, this is about it. The restaurant is divided into three sections - the bar/causal area in front, the more formal dining room in the middle, and an enclosed porch at... More
