Great spot for a late lunch

We ate lunch on their back patio. Brenda was our server, and John was the cook. The food was delicious, and the service was gracious and efficient. We wanted peach cobbler for dessert. They were out of it, but said they would start making one for us. We thought it was a good idea to walk off lunch... read more

We chose The Town's Inn on our visit to Harper's Ferry today because we wanted a Carry Out option with decent prices-the Inn boasted both on their front porch. When we walked in the front door, no one was there to seat us or greet us. We wandered therough the tiny hallway looking for someone or some sign as to... More

They were out of it, but said they would start making one for us. We thought it was a good idea to walk off lunch anyway and... More

It's not easy to find somewhere to eat in Harper's Ferry, especially in the evening, and particularly a Tuesday evening. We ended up in the the Town's Inn and Tavern more or less by default, but boy were we glad we did! We had an excellent dinner of trout, accompanied by locally brewed beer, in a friendly little dining room,... More

Everything was ok - nothing spectacular, but nice service. The black bean burger was homemade, and my mom enjoyed a late breakfast. The back patio is charming, facing the stone walls.

I rarely post reviews, but I felt it would be unfair to anyone thinking about trying this restaurant to not share my experience. We stopped into The Town's Inn with our party of 6 to have lunch while visiting Harper's Ferry. We asked the employee at the door if we could see a menu when we walked in just to... More

The worst experience and we weren't even there for 5 minutes. We were a party of six and in from out of town. We were looking for a nice place to have lunch and stumbled upon the Towns Inn. After confusion about how to enter the restaurant due to confusing signs, the manager/host met us inside yelling about how many... More

Karan, along with her family and friends, were all very sweet but our visit there was disorganized and chaotic from the beginning. She lost my reservation, nicely made some monetary concessions for different spaces, but then when we arrived told us we would have to move to someplace else for our second night. That had never been communicated to me... More

We were late arriving in Harpers Ferry - or to be honest a 10 minute walk up hill from the town. We walked down the hill, past old Pulp Mills and hidden bridges and secret islands , with glowing Fire Flies lighting our way. We slowly realised that it was very unlikely that we would find anywhere to eat in... More

This is in two historic building built into the side of a cliff. Our ground floor rooms had the stone walls, so it felt a bit like a cave with air conditioning and plumbing. It was comfortable enough, and seemed pretty well cared for. But we did wake up to worms on the floor in the bathroom. Definitely a bit... More
