Old historic Inn

We stopped for dessert and coffee and found it a cute little place. The staff was friendly but the old building in much need of some tlc. The menu for meals looked delightful but we did not have time to stay. Next time we will try the pot pie!

Food, atmosphere, and service were great! Sat on back patio. Absolutely beautiful! Best meal in Harper's Ferry!

The facade was intriguing and menu had variety and value so we walked up. There was a sitting/waiting area and the waitress dressed in charming country wear welcomed us in. I inquired about the kind of bread used in their sandwiches and what would be the wait time for the outdoor restaurant. The waitress was impatient and unhelpful as she... More

We waited about 20 minutes to get waited on by someone in the main lounge area. We took the advice of our waitress and ordered the chicken pot pie, which was small but delicious. The food was pretty decent, but the service could use some help.

Grandson and I had dinner there last evening. Small place with about 10 tables. We ate in the outback" grotto - sensational place on a hot sunny day. I had the best pulled pork that I have had outside of the Carolinas; grandson had a large chicken dish that he loved. Total bill with one beer and 2 sodas was... More

After a full day of white water rafting Ann hiking, we arrived hungry at 8:00pm when most of Harpers Ferry restaurants were closed. Dining room was small, dark but quaint. The lone waiter was very kind and efficient if rushed. We had the eggplant Parmesan and macaroni and cheese appetizers-delicious. The cornbread was a bit dry. Our main course was... More

Service ranging from appallingly rude to nonexistent. The lady working the back patio ignored our family for 30 minutes after we were seated. She seemed angry that the staff in the front sent us back before our table had been bused and she clearly decided to take it out on us. There were very few other customers (6 maybe over... More

We were recommended this place by our b+b owner. It has a range of home-made meals to order from. The owner made us welcome and the service was relatively quick. The food was good, but we thought it to be a little pricey for what you were getting. There was also a lot of flies in the room, I don't... More

We had a great vegetarian meal here. They also have plenty of other options. Everything is fresh and local and made to order. Prices are reasonable. They have a nice selection of local craft beers on tap. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The historic building is interesting and the outdoor patio is awesome. If you want a meal... More

We went to the Town's Inn after several hours of hiking. It took a short while for us to figure out where to order, because the manager was talking to several of her inn guests. However, in short order a server came and seated us. The server was polite, competent and friendly, the food was superb, and the ambience was... More
