5 of us stopped by Hannah's Train Depot after looking at the menu and deciding it looked decent enough. The place is charming on the outside, but not so much on the inside - it's rather run-down, almost like greasy spoon but worse. The young waitress was a family member of the owners - she couldn't remember who got what... More

We dreamed of delicious bbq meats whilst traveling about harpers ferry. We were lured in by the smell of meat coming from the smoker outsode. What we got was far from tasty meats. Old, cold, tough and chewy pulled pork. Thats all i gotta say.

We were looking for a lace to have an inexpensive dinner before leaving Harpers Ferry. We found Hannah's across from the train station. We are told they had great crab cakes. They were all out, so we tried the fish and chips. Not very good, the fish filets were too thin so when they were fried they became too crunchy.... More

I ordered the grilled Haddock special and it was AMAZING! The fish was flavored very simply, and had wonderful taste & texture.

After a long day of sightseeing off-season, we realized that Hannah's was the only place open in town. The restaurant is certainly charming because of its location in an old train car, but that's where the charm stops. Our sandwiches were decent though over-priced. Our waitress seemed put out that she had to get off her cell phone to wait... More

I was taught that 'if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all'. So I won't comment on the food, cleanliness and service. The plus side is that part of the building is an old train car.

We spent the day in Harpers Ferry and just wanted a late lunch so after walking up past all the restaurants we decided to try Hannah's Train Depot. The BBQ smelled delicious. After looking at the menu, we all decided (there were 3 of us) on items other than the BBQ. I wish we had tried the BBQ because then... More

I really wanted to like this place. The reviews were fair, but I was hopeful. We should have headed the advice of the reviews and gone elsewhere. The food is incredibly overpriced and served on Styrofoam with plastic forks. And don't be mistaken, Styrofoam is fine but the food wasn't remotely tasty. The only order we received which was good... Food here was not the greatest. first the fact you use paper plates and plastic utensils you know your in for a treat. The kitchen mainly consist of microwaves so you know they don't cook there food there. The chili was more like a stew then anything. A very tomato base and not much of a chili flavor. Now on... More

We decided to let my kids pick the place and since they wanted ribs this was the place. When the waitress placed paper plates and plastic flatware we were like this is going to be just great. Ha! Ha!. Our family had ribs which were fine, but had better but overpowered by the sauce on top. The pulled pork had a... More
