I did read other reviews and the Cannonball Deli sounded wonderful... my experience was nothing special. We stopped for lunch around 12:45 and were greeted right away. The sign in front of the restaurant said there was deck seating available; we asked to be seated there and were taken through the kitchen area (really?), out the back door past the... More

Best food in Harpers Ferry! I just used the Cannonball Restaurant for a continuing education clinic. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and plentiful. This was some of the best food I've had the pleasure to consume/serve in a long, long time. This is a "Don't Miss" place to visit while in Harpers Ferry.

Small inside dining area, but there is a larger patio on the Potomac Street side. Apparently you have to ask about that, because it was never mentioned to us that outdoor seating was an option. Decent service, but don't expect too much from this place - it is what it is. We kept it simple and ordered a cheeseburger and... More

I don't have anything to say about the food, because we never got that far; ....dropped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon and had to actively seek out a server/cook. She told us to take a seat and never made eye contact with any of us. Sat inside in the lower section for about 5 minutes then got up... More

You won't be disappointed in the food. Its a small establishment but well run and the food is good. You can eat inside in the air conditioning or enjoy their outdoor seating. We never visit Harper's ferry without eating here.

Ate here while roaming around downtown Harpers Ferry. The food was good, though nothing all that special. The gyros platter was good and had a large portion of food. The ambiance is casual on the street side. This is a good place if you want good food but don't need the ambiance of being in a historical park.

The service was ok nothing to brag about nothing to complain about. Food was ok, a bit pricey for sandwiches and bar food. I will try another place when I return

You have to look for this place. It's down a few stairs and in a basement but it's worth finding it. My husband and I had lunch there and were a little put off at first. It's a little dark and like everything in Harpers Ferry very old but clean. The staff couldn't be nicer and made sure we had... More

The location is small, but fits in well with the compact downtown of Harpers Ferry. We went on a nice late winter day, and it was about half full- I think they may have just opened up for the season, after being closed over the winter months. Both our chicken burrito and gyros were nicely prepared and tasty, and our... More

I came here on the recommendation of a federal employee who works nearby. I told him I was headed to "X" restaurant and he said that I may want to try the Cannonball Deli. Well, since I am a volunteer with Company D, First US Artillery at Fort Washington NHP, Maryland; a eatery with a name connected to artillery is... More
