Several days ago I came into Big Water for a latte and a piece of banana bread and was immediately greeted by two staff members. Instead of a regular latte, I ordered a Sugarbush Latte which had maple syrup in it. Then I noticed that they also had soup...I ordered the Carrot Potato. Immediately up arriving at my table I... This is a great little coffee shop with friendly people and they roast their own coffee beans. Homemade goods.

This place was just down the street from our vacation rental and the smell of coffee was too good to pass up. I was not disappointed. I took mine to go but it seemed like a good atmosphere to sip and read or catch up with a friend.

They blend their own chai and are very good at it. The atmosphere is very friendly with a big room for lounging on couches or at tables. Coffee is superior and roasted on site.

The coffee, teas, and ciders are delicious. It is warm and comfy inside on comfortable furniture. The wifi works great, which is really important in this part of the state. Your own mobile internet is not likely to work up here. You can catch up at this coffee shop.

Up early on a chilly morning, we were craving hot coffee and a bite of something sweet before our trip on Lake Superior with Apostle Island Cruises. Big Water Coffee Roasters turned out to be the perfect place to satisfy those urges -- a homey, friendly spot with great coffee and terrific baked goods. Easing ourselves into comfy chairs alongside... More

I'm a serious espresso snob and BWCR did a great job of taking care of my big city espresso needs. The roast is a bit sweet compared to my favorite (Toro at Colectivo, FKA Alterra, MKE, WI USA), but the pull was perfect every morning with a very nice crema. Kudos to you BWCR!

We make this the first stop on any visit to Bay Field WI. The barista's are always friendly! The pastries and sandwiches are brought in from Coco's another area favorite. The coffee is roasted in house and the drinks use locally sourced products such as local milk, honey, and maple syrup. I cannot say enough nice things about this place... More

Awe, shucks! Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to write such a nice review. We really appreciate it! I'm so happy you noticed all the fun stuff we are doing with local products. Just wanted to note that we make all our own scratch bakery in house! (But honored you thought they were from Coco's because we... More
