What a fun place to have coffee. And the coffee is fantastic. While we were there we watched a "cupping" take place. VERY cool! And super friendly employees!

Big Water Coffee Roasters is a cool and healthy must have in the quaint lake town of Bayfield. With a younger staff that readily and pleasantly greet you by name every time, often knowing or having a good guess at what you'll order, you always feel liked upon walking in the door. Joe, Pat, Mark, Aria, Jim and rest of... More

Charming and top shelf coffee & treats. Staff is friendly and a little high on their own supply. Get the window seat and take it all in.

One of the few businesses open during in the winter in Bayfield (understandably so). We were amazed at the quality of the coffee, it was only second to The Angry Catfish in Minneapolis. They has adorable mugs as well, so of course we had to take home some souvenirs.

Actually this is being dictated to me by my wife, the coffee drinker in the family who visited here every day, coming out raving each time! Having visited many coffee places on our many travels, this is her favorite! And it was located just one block from the condo where we stayed for 4 days. There were constant customers throughout... We stopped in for coffee mid afternoon shortly after arriving in Bayfield, the guy running the cash register was very cordial, the barista, not so much. He seemed annoyed when we asked for a recommendation of where to eat dinner. The locals seemed to get fancy latte art on their coffee and ours he just kind of slopped together and... More

Thank you for your feedback and I apologize that your visit was anything short of exceptional. We pride ourselves on great service so it saddens me that we did not deliver this to you. I have talked withe the staff about your comments. Our staff has been putting in extra hours because of the wonderful but unexpected ice cave boom.... More

Stopped in here with friends after a great breakfast at the Egg Toss. The pastries were dry and flavorless, the hot chocolate mediocre at best. Coffee was okay, according to my compatriots. Their decor/coffee cups with the kraken were cute.

Jon and the staff at Big Water have catered to our caffeine needs for 7 years now! The little town of Bayfield is really hopping with all the hype about the sea caves, but the service and food/drink remains spot on. Looking forward to the new remodeling now in progress!

Great coffee, wonderful bagel breakfast, and the most spectacular service. The barista took the time to give us a recommendation for local adventures. The coffee shop atmosphere was quaint and was visited by many local patrons as well.
