Unique decor, great food

Try Everett's brown sugar smoked trout salsa, delicious. This is a busy, popular place where the flamingo is king. Flamingos, flamingos everywhere, even on the ceiling. As a gluten, dairy free diner, I had Maggie's Superior sandwich sans bun and my fellow diner had the white fish livers, all well... read more

We make a stop at Maggie's every summer we stay in Bayfield. The menu has quite a variety and everything seems to be delicious. You can't go wrong! I loved the wine I had last summer at this restaurant and it was an Australian white wine called Ranga Ranga.

Maggie's is simply fun. We had nicely done, simple foods like burgers and fries. Then we had hot cocoa with a boost. Dang those were good! Staff worked to accommodate of needs, allowed sharing, a good idea as portion are size-able.

Lovely cozy overstuffed atmosphere, with flamingos. Interesting menu. Sadly, the dinner specials were mostly frustrating near misses in execution. We had one excellent dish (brisket with cumin BBQ sauce), two near-misses (duck bruschetta marred by an excess of overly sweet caramelized onion that hid the earthiness of the duck, fried herring with excellent breading but less than rigorously fresh). And... More

Me and my Bae went there and it was a bar/diner thing. Very fun, vibrant, and cool! We got a cheese pizza with random toppings and a side of French fries. Total was about $20 and the waitresses were funny and nice so we left a good tip 😉

We ate lunch at Maggie's during our weekend visit to Bayfield. The decor was so unique - everything flamingo! Tried the hot drink - apple whiskey, cider, whipped cream and drizzled with caramel! Yummy!

We went to have fish but they had none. Very disappointing! Had a sandwich that was ok but would not go there again.

We knew it must be good because the place was packed. We waited about 25 minutes but it was worth it. The restaurant is small, friendly staff and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Flamingos of all sorts are hanging from the roof and you could spend hours just looking at the decor. I had the Tres Tapas special. It... More

We stopped in specifically to have the whitefish and the fish livers. Waited around until 11:30 for the restaurant to open. Service was friendly but no whitefish or fish liver. Was told the fishing season was over for the season - thus no whitefish. Had a burger - very plain. "Interesting" atmosphere. All around disappointing -

Most of our group of four friends enjoyed the whitefish sandwich lunch special, which was just fine but not outstanding. It was difficult to get the waitstaff's attention, even though it was a slow October afternoon when we visited. Loved the decor and all the flamingos!
