Very eclectic atmosphere!

We went to Maggie's at the recommendation of our hosts in Bayfield. We were told that the atmosphere was very unique. It didn't disappoint. There are flamingos everywhere because the owner loves flamingos. We tried whitefish livers for the first time. I liked them. If you don't like liver, then... read more

This is a 'must' stop while in the artistic harbor city of Bayfield to take in the creative atmosphere, artistic flair that permeates the building's decor and the presentation and tastes of the food served.

We were sent here by the hotel managers. There are not a lot of eating options in Bayfield so we tried it out. The decor is different but not charming, pink flamingoes and pannelling circa 1985. The food was OK but nothing special.

When visiting Bayfield during the shoulder or off season, there are very few places to eat, but those open offer wonderful meals! We walked around the area, reading menus, and working up an appetite. After narrowing it down to two, we chose Maggie's because it offered an all-you-can-eat Friday fish fry and other choices. We also watched a lot of... More

Great pizza, dailey specials, wide selection of cold beer and the day we ate lunch, Maggie's served rasperry shortcake on home made scones with fresh whipped cream.

If you aren't looking for fish, it can be a little challenging finding restaurant options in the winter when many restaurants are closed. Maggie's is open and gives you good variety. service is friendly and prices are reasonable.

Maggie's Restaurant is very different form other restaurants in Bayfield, both in terms of décor and menu. Food was average to good, but service was speedy and friendly.

Where else can you get whitefish livers? Unfortunately, the night we ate here, they were sold out of this local delicacy. But you can't go wrong with any of their dishes, all of which are made from scratch. And they have several vegetarian options (we have 1 vegetarian in our family of 4). The decor is eclectic - one of... More

They were the only place open in town but we would have gone there anyway. Very friendly staff, even though they were probably exhausted, and great pizza!
