I had a great meal here. If you can go on the night that lasagna is the special, get it. Super friendly staff. They let us stay until the placed closed because we were waiting for our fairy and had time and no where to go.

We ate here as part of a large group while in town for a conference. First of all, THANK YOU to Ethel's and their staff for accommodating our large group. The owner himself came in and introduced himself and his wife, which was also a nice touch and made us all feel welcomed. They had a nice wine list and... More

We had dinner here after a day of kayaking. They don't take reservations, but if you call ahead, they will put your name on the list. We were staying just blocks away, so called before we left the motel. When we arrived, a table was waiting for us. The dining area is very small, not only in the number of... More

Very clean, nice restaurant atmosphere, workers were pleasant. Pizza was good but a bit pricey; will recommend this place.

Not an overly fancy place but it was nice and reasonably priced for the quality of food. I had a mushroom pesto pasta which was very good. Service was friendly, however when we were in town Ethel's was very busy so make a reservation. Also it was not open on Monday so if you want to go plan accordingly.

We had dinner here on a Tuesday night in July. Every table was taken and we had a brief wait. The place is small, so there can be a wait. The food was really good though. The service was also good and the staff was friendly.

The food was fantastic. The white fish delicious. The appetizers the smoked Whitefish Crostini was fantastic. The service was spectacular. The owners very friendly and made you feel welcome. The restaurant was very cozy and elegant with out being presumptuous. They put hospitality back into hospitality. Will be back for more.

Our party of four all really enjoyed our meal at Ethel's. We arrived without a reservation, but they were able to seat us quickly and we had excellant service on a very busy night. We all ordered different entrees and were all very pleased with the quality. If we are ever back in Bayfield we will re-visit Ethel's.

I had the Barnacle Bills Chicken dish and it was wonderful! Also the wine list is very good. The server was very helpful in choosing a wine that went with both our dinners. I will def return!
