Ethel's is simply delicious! Order anything and everything on the menu....you won't be disappointed. The craft every dinner with care and thought. The specials each day are unique and exquisite. We had the mushroom pesto pizza (which they can make gluten free along with many of their other pizzas, pastas and dishes) as an appetizer, which was so delicious, we... More

While I have nothing bad to say about Ethel's, there was nothing extraordinary that made Ethel's stand out. The pastas and appetizers were good and certainly a nice change of pace from whitefish and trout. Service was excellent and the place was packed, so as they say on the sign on the door "Call Ahead". We did not but still... More

We ate at Ethel's twice while in Bayfield for 5 days in June 2014. There were six of us and each one had something different. I don't recall what everyone had but I had spaghetti and meat balls the first night and it was quite good. We were advised that Thursday was lasagna night and that we should call ahead... More

Inviting atmosphere, good pizza, pasta, and local beers. The short walk uphill from the pier is worth it.

Be sure to try the local dishes with whitefish or smoked lake trout and don't miss the desserts. Prompt and friendly service with reasonable prices.

We had the whitefish dinner and it was delicious. The fish was prepared to perfection and was accompanied by a very tasty vegetable medley and potatoes. The seafood chowder is a must if you are a chowder lover. Our meal concluded with a piece of apple pie with ice cream - yum! Our server was extremely personable and provided great... More

While there are lots of choices in the Bayfield area, we highly recommend Ethel's at 250. We popped in for dinner on a busy Friday night and were greeted at the door by one of the owners. The atmosphere is lively and the food was great.

Ethel's is a fave of our's for our annual trip, this year we brought my mom along who is very picky about her food. Every place we ate in Bayfield previous to Ethel's left her unimpressed, but at the first bite she thought the totellini was very good and couldn't stop talking about it between bites, you can't get a... Let me preface this by saying we are resident's...new residents...and run a B&B in the area. So we feel it is our duty to our guests to sample each of the restuarants in the locale. We eventually made it to 'Ethel's' and while we have not had a bad meal at ANY of Bayfield's wonderful eateries...Ethel's just blew me away!... More

We had good draft beer and pizza here on a Sunday night. We got two pizzas and had one leftover so we took it with us and ate it the next day. The pizzas were good. The thin crust is wonderful with delicate toppings.
