More healthy options now

We visited with a friend and discovered an improved menu where healthier options are concerned. We had a veggie dish, a pleasing salad, and I was bad and tried the fish n chips. The fish n chips were very good, just right for a lunch portion. The fish was perfectly cooked, soft flaky and melt in... read more

That was the highlight. Nothing to write home about. Their "famous" chicken turned out to be unexceptional chicken fingers. Not bad - just nothing special. Grilled vegetables were a disappointment and asparagus seemed to be valued at about a dollar a stalk. Steaks were of normal diner quality. Overall an acceptable place to eat. Just don't expect too much.

Enjoyed dinner here! Their Calabash Chicken really is as good as they say. A little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, but worth a try! The peach cobbler for dessert was amazing!

We went for a late lunch on a Friday (2:30pm), and were seated in the bar area. The tables were full but no one was at the bar so it was a good sign that the food was pretty good. The service was slow because as the server shared, they were understaffed. He was running like crazy, but seemed to... More

have never had a bad experience, eat here at least twice a month, their food is wonderful, big portions, you'll never leave hungry, and they have the coldest and best salads (other restaurants should take note!). Staff is always friendly and of course there's the rolls! soooo good!

Perfect order taking with courteous phone service. Food prepared to meet special requests. Would recommend the loaded potato soup and calabash chicken to anyone. Close walk over from the hotels.

Fatz is a nice restaurant to go out with the fam or friends. Do not sit in the bar to eat. The poor bartender is expected to serve tables and make drinks for the whole place. This means the tables dining in pay price with incorrect orders, empty glasses, and no refills on their poppyseed rolls.

I was traveling and got in late. Fatz was next door to my hotel...so a nice easy walk. I recommend the Calabash Chicken and the cheesy grits....outstanding. They also had nice tall cold beers!! I will stop again on my next trip!

My husband & I had lunch there. He ordered salad and I had cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. I felt the fries could have cooked a little longer. They were not crispy rather they were limp. The cheeseburger and salad were both very good as well as their rolls with the cinnamon butter. Wait staff was very good and kept... More
