The Bean Barn is one of the local favorites. Great burgers (with a toasted bun), fries, and a drink in a laid back atmosphere. I don't always get the beans, but when I do they are cooked to perfection.

This is an old store that has been converted to a restaurant. My out of town relatives insist on going every time they come to town. Jerry is behind the grill cooking up your order. I have only had breakfast there once, but I had eggs and sausage gravy biscuits. Lunch can be a burger and fries, soup beans and... More

From the atmosphere to the decor, this is one of my favorite places to grab a burger in Greeneville. I understand that their soup beans are awesome and their Hobart (country ham on a burger) is great as well, but I can't pass up their burgers when I go. They are open only M-F but make sure you take the... More

Love this place! Very limited menu but there is no reason to have anything else but stew and beans all the way!! If you are in the mood for something else may I suggest the Hobart buger!! Yummy little piece of Greenville history!!

The Bean Barn is a small, antique looking diner. It is in a old building and you would miss it if you didn't know where it is. They have the best beans ever made! They also serve great fries and wonderful sweet tea. I try to eat here as often as I can. They are inexpensive and well worth the... More

We stopped here after reading a review and being in the mood for a hamburger. Burgers were very good, as was my side of beans and cornbread. We especially enjoyed looking at all the old advertising signs on the wall, particularly the thermometers. There were a lot of people here at noon on a Wednesday, but we found a booth... More

Every time we have visitors in from out of town we take them to the Bean Barn. If you want "real" soup beans thats the place to go. The beef stew if divine and they have the best french fries in town ( big golden krinkle cuts that are crispy to perfection on the outside and fluffy on the inside... More

This restaurant was originally owned by my Great great great uncle and the current owners kept it exactly the same. The food is phenomenal probably because of the wear-and-tear of the grill. Old timey candy/soda fill the display shelves and the experience is something in itself. It's always busy though, but that's expected at a place this fantastic
