Good alternative.

My first visit to Skillets was a few years ago, and this second visit, I have to say was an improved experience. I went in for a late breakfast on a Monday, and had no problems getting a seat, the server/cashier lady let us pick our booth. I ordered the Waffle Two Step, while my daughter picked... read more

Have been eating here for several years for breakfast on return trips from deer hunting. Their breakfast has always been hot and cooked to order. The breakfast is always good! If you are in the area at breakfast time, i highly recommend it.

The breakfast was very good and made exactly how i order it. I am very particular how my eggs are cooked and the waiter understood and communicated that to the cook. The value of the restaurant is very good and they have a good variety in their menu. Its not a "fancy" place if that is what you are looking... More

This is a good breakfast spot. Pancakes and scrambled eggs are the best. Large serving sizes and good coffee. Can eat breakfast any time you want.

My omelet was fine but my friend ordered huevos rancheros and the refired beans were spoiled. The waitress was very nice and immediately had the kitchen make her another plate. I would said this place is average.

Went to Skillet's for breakfast at 6:20 AM. Prompt, friendly service. Had an omelette, hash browns, toast, and a lot of good coffee. Inexpensive prices. Law enforcement, ranchers, and locals filled the place. I will return to Skillet's!

Convince next to motels in the area is the restaurant's best attribute. Our breakfast was bland. We ordered eggs scrambled but received fried eggs. Our server was attentive and corrected the mistake without hesitation. If we lived locally, we would not eat here.

Had the Texas Two Step price reasonable, great service nothing fancy. Pancakes and eggs could have been cooked a bit more.

I've eaten at Skillet's a number of times, for breakfast and for dinner, and undoubtedly their food is worth the value spent...the service is always very good, and the food is likewise very good. Thankfully, their hours are awesome - they are open 24 hours and you can order breakfast all day long (or evening). I especially like the make... More

We enjoyed a terrific breakfast with superb service at Skillet's. The blueberry pancakes were terrific, as were the eggs and bacon. The server was delightful, and I regret that we did not record her name, as she was fantastic. She was personable and made our visit enjoyable. Thank you!
