We were in DelRio last weekend and decided to eat here, when we walked in we were told nothing but the bar area was available, ok, so we saw about 5 empty tables but figured close to dinner time they were reserved. So we sat in the bar area, no problem. Once we FINALLY received our menus, it took about... More

But even in Ciudad Acuña, it is still average! The restaurant in Del Rio is loud with terrible acoustics. The food is mediocre Tex-Mex food. The servers, however, are a surprise. The young men and women are courteous, friendly and upbeat. I know it's popular with the hunters and the fishermen because every time we've been there, they are there!

We recently visited on a Friday night. The place was packed with people having a good time. The restaurant can be very noisy. If you you are looking for a quiet romantic meal, this may not be the place. While not the greatest steaks, they were cooked to order, seasoned well, and arrived hot. The overworked waitstaff were pleasant, friendly,... More

Service is slow and fajitas were half cooked and when asked to send the food back and get it off the ticket the owner refused. This is ongoing. Won't go back. Music is too loud and you can't visit

Was very busy when we got there but were seated immediately. Service was amazing best waitress ever(think her name was Tanaya) my son ended up getting sick and she rushed to help clean up. Food was amazing and large portions. Will definitely go back again.

They were busy, we take that into consideration. This was our second visit and the busy consideration no longer holds muster. I love Queso Fundido but was intrigued by the Charo Queso on the menu. I asked the server which was better? Sorry, no name, she didn't give one, She raved on and on about the Charo Queso. Explained as... More

Del Rio has very little to choose from in the way of good restaurants. We asked several people for recommendations of restaurants that served "healthy" food (vegetables in addition or in lieu of meat) and were met with negative shakes of heads everywhere. This place serves Mexican food and steaks. Quantity of food per serving was huge; quality was okay.... More

I gave this restaurant 3 stars based solely on the atmosphere. The food is obviously reheated because the rice is nearly burnt every single time I go here. Honestly, nothing on the menu is spectacular. The cucumber margaritas are great, however, I, too, have heard that the missed drinks have little to no alcohol.

Manuel's is a good Mexican place to dine with a varied menu and good drinks. We had the Mexican Martinis with chili powder on the glass rim and an appetizer of delicious guacamole and fried ribeye steak--excellent. For dessert we had their tasty made in house flan. The service was outstanding.

Very popular restaurant, even on a Wednesday evening. Average food, medium priced. OK if you don't want anything special.
