Good Caldo De Res

I hate having to order at the counter and have to pay for chips and salsa, which are not all that great, however the food is pretty good. They serve really good caldo de res. Not your typical Tex-Mex Restaurant. Nice decor inside.

I expected good Mexican food to be a given in Del Rio, Texas so the challenge was to find the BEST in the city. Many locals recommended Don Marcelino's - must be the local joke. The 3 of us live in San Antonio and are no strangers to a good enchilada. However here, the atmosphere was fine, even had a... More

Lots of people love this place but I'm just not a fan. It's cheap enough but not great quality food.

Have eaten here twice but have not been impressed. Will look for a better Mexican restaurant because this one does at best will be average or below.

The refried beans were dried out and lacked flavor. The rice was dried out, lacked flavor and seemed like it was sitting around for hours. The meat was meat by definition but it was dry and lacked seasoning. Again, it seemed like it was left lying around. And then there was the bathroom. Where were the paper towels to wipe... More

We always eat, even if we are in a rush. Coffee is hot and strong, tacos are good too. Chorizo isnt greasy like some other places. Love this place.

Came to visit from San Antonio,Texas to Del Rio, Texas and stopping by at Don Marcelinos on Monday before heading back the waitress spoke no english and was having alot of trouble communicating with me. I ordered two beef fajitas tacos very good size tacos the meat needs to be more tender but overall all they were okay.

The food can't be customized and looks like it comes out of the freezer already plated and thrown in a microwave. It's dirty and really greasy. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

We had breakfast at Don Marcelino's and it was great! My husband and son had the huevos rancheros and loved it. I had the chorizo and eggs and it was great too. Really liked the hot sauces.
