fast food, old food

We were brought here with a couple of locals. You go to the counter to order (first clue). They do not have free chips and salsa for your meal (second clue). You get your on drinks(third clue).

Took a while to get the food, 20 min maybe. Once we got it, it was filling but overall average Mexican food for the price. Nothing really to write home about.

They have a great daily lunch buffet and service is good. Prices are fair and you get a good variety

Very nice place attentive personnel big dishes at a low price, taste is very Mexican, salsas are great, we were invited by a friend that lives in Del Rio for him is the best Mexican Food restaurant in town. Tortillas are very good, you ask for huevos rancheros and you receive 3 and you can see they are Jumbo, Machado... More

Don Marcelino's is a must stop whenever we are in Del Rio. Good food with daily specials to boot. Drinks are pricey but refills make up for it. Friendly staff makes Don Marcelino's a pleasure to return.

My husband and I wanted to go to an "authentic" Mexican food place. We chose Don Marcelino's because we thought this might be the place. You order before sitting down and pay, which was okay. I ordered the fajitas and my husband ordered a steak with a tomato sauce on it. My fajitas did not even taste like fajitas. They... More

English cut ribs are to die for. Make sure you take your appetite. Other plates my friends got were also very tempting. Take your appetite, dishes are piled high.

We ordered & paid for our meals first, before we sat at our table. Person taking our order was indifferent, unfriendly; no greeting or welcome. Wait staff unattentive, also unfriendly, seem only there to deliver food from kitchen to your table and then not come back. You are given a glass to fill and refill yourself. The rest rooms have... The Crispy Tacos and Red Enchiladas are exceptional. Very authenic atmosphere. As has been rated by others, the service is pretty poor. However, you order and pay at the counter, then count on doing everything else yourself, the waitresses never remember. The food quality overcomes this issue for me.

Food was good and authentic. Service is poor and i dont believe it was just our server. it seems to be a common thing among the staff. The owner might want to look into re-energizing their employees or finding new ones
