The food can't be customized and looks like it comes out of the freezer already plated and thrown in a microwave. It's dirty and really greasy. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

We had breakfast at Don Marcelino's and it was great! My husband and son had the huevos rancheros and loved it. I had the chorizo and eggs and it was great too. Really liked the hot sauces.

We ordered and paid for our meals at the counter when we walked in. We sat at a table and every staff member which came to the table was rude with no expression on there faces. It felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us for the meal we just purchased. The serving process was a mess.... More

This is a great place to eat some delicious authentic Mexican food. The prices are quite reasonable. The service was very good, but the food was fantastic. I encourage you to try the Carne Guisada plate. The restaurant has a fun and colorful atmosphere and you can dine in very casual attire. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our visit was for lunch, Sat, June 14, 2014. My wife & I ordered & paid for our meals first, before we sat at our table. Person taking our order was indifferent, unfriendly; no greeting or welcome. Wait staff unattentive, also unfriendly. My wife's meal was served much later than mine. My meal looked sloppily prepared; did not look appetizing.... More

My husband and I ate here because our desk clerk recommended it as great Mexican food. I could not eat mine. The enchiladas were covered in a blanket of rubbery, greasy cheese. The refried beans had no flavor, and the rice was just OK. My husband said his combination platter was so-so. It is hard to rate service because you... More

My favorite spot when I go home to DR. I always have to stop at Marcelino's to remind me of real Mexican food. Just a great memory to have before I hit the road again, you just can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Not the best of service tho, the lady behind the counter is always rude and... More

When going to Don Marcelino's expect only what they do well. Guisado!!! I can only give them 4 stars for the guisado because it is phenomenal. BUT it ends there. Don't eat breakfast, disappointing. Don't eat tacos, greasy. Make sure you order your chips and salsa when you order at the annoying cashier as you enter. YES, they charge $2.70... More

I first ate here 31 years ago when My brother got married in Del Rio. It was really good then, and is still just as good today. I travel here often and always make Don Marcelinos a frequent stop.

I just don't care for this place. They seem to be more interested in opening and closing locations than they do in just putting out good food. It's not Tex-Mex and it's not Mexican. It is probably closer to not very good Mexican than anything else but of the oodles of places that we have eaten in Mexico, we've never... More
