Chose to celebrate our son's birthday here and the experience was fantastic. Food was excellent, reasonably priced (for San Francisco) and waitstaff wonderful. Our waitress, Karine, made the day extra special and dining experience superb.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Waterbar Restaurant. The interior features very large vertical aquariums with a variety of large fish. The menu as you would expect also features fish and many varieties of Oyster. The service was excellent, the service superb and the prices are on par with this top notch establishment. Highly recomend Waterbar.

A very attractive (expensive) restaurant just under the bridge. Great fresh seafood bar (oysters/clams/crab etc.). The lamb shank was exceptional. Drinks were very good. Lot's a fun and a beautiful location.

Our large party enjoyed a magnificent view of the Bay Bridge. That was the good part. It took 3 hours to serve tepid food....fish was unremarkable, with little flavor. All sides were cold. That was when the staff disappeared, so we ate what we had .......aside from being the noisiest restaurant ever, the food was mediocre and very expensive for... More

If you are looking for a great evening out chose Waterbar. Not only are the views probably one of the best in San Fransisco, the service and quality of food is superb. My husband and I went for our Anniversary dinner and we were seated at a table right by the window with views of the Bay Bridge lit up... More

Waterbar provides one of the best views in San Francisco: it looks out at the Bay Bridge, which now sports newly installed lights that make it one of the most most scenic bridges in the US. And if you tire of that view you can watch the fish (or lobsters or crabs) in one of the numerous attractive interior tanks.... More

First thing once you walk through the door, what hits you right in the face is THE VIEW! Under the Bay Bridge, and once it gets dark and the lights go on, its fabulous. (Memories of the Charles Vern Restaurant in Paris, when the Eiffel Tower lights go on). I said to the lovely smiling hostess if we could get... More

when at this caliber restaurant I expect servers to actually answer questions. I asked what the staff had tasted on the menu tonight. Yes, the chef often makes sure the staff does know what things should taste like. This guy claimed not to know anything, and In fact said everything was fresh. It darn well should be, it's not the... I'm a foodie and extremely particular where I dine. A friend of mine who lives in SF recommended this restaurant with one of the perks being its right under the Bay Bridge and its light show. Everything about the restaurant was really terrific from the ambiance, to the service, to the food. Mostly sea food based, it has meats as... More

We came here for dinner while staying in San Francisco. The food was amazing! We started with oysters and then for dinner had the ahi tuna and the sole. I am usually not a huge fan of oysters but decided to try them here, and loved them. The dinner was expensive, but the service and quality of food made it... More
