This has been an excellent fish and seafood restaurant since the day it opened along the Embarcadero. The oysters are delicious and are flown in from all over the country, so the variety is amazing. The fish dishes are well-prepared. The wine list is extensive. The wait staff are professional and know how to give diners all the time they... More

Went here in hopes of sitting outside with a view but the outside area is small, the food is great. My 15 yr old son was a little pouty about facing a mainly a seafood menu when hes not a seafood fan but he got some pasta and steak and loved it so much he asked if we could go... More

The oysters were fantastic as well as the entrees. I had the King salmon and it was very tastey. Definitely a huge step up from Vinnies in La Joie where I was extremely disappointed. The service was a lot slower than expected, but i guess that's to create that ambiance of fine dining.

A cool lunch on the hottest Sunday in memory. Very nice place on the water close to the Bay Bridge. Very unique seafood dishes. Excellent food & service.

You can drown yourself on oysters in this place. With a fabulous view of the Bay Bridge, you can spend your entire afternoon just watching the bay, looking at beautiful people, sipping the wine, and downing dozens and dozens of oysters.

The food was very good and the service was fairly good, but its a bit too much of poser restaurant for those who want to see and be seen. The music selection was poor, and didn't fit with the elegant setting.

We were referred to this restaurant by a friend. Spectacular view of the bay and the bay bridge. We were seated on the patio. We were amazed that we were able to indulge in $1 oysters for Happy Hour. We ate 2 dozen and resisted the temptation to order more! Ceviche was also enjoyable. Definitely a place we will return... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
