Pleasantly Surprised

My cranberry turkey sandwich was delightful. The meat was an excellent quality and the staff super friendly. It was so good, I tried their SFO location with the same positive result. Enjoy!

Omg I was so happy to finally get here and it did not disappoint. The aromatic smell hits you as soon as you come in. I bought a sourdough bread shaped like a turtle. They even have miniature sized breads so if you don't want the $9.99 larger one you can pay $4.95 and still have the experience. The service... More

Get here early and you can avoid the lines. The best sour dough bowl I have had. The chili was great not spicy but very full flavored. The grilled cheese with bacon seems to be the hot item.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this place was so severely UNDERwhelming that I am compelled. We have been to the Wharf before even though we live in California, so we were expecting a tourist trap...which it WAS. The hostess seemed almost irritated that she had to seat us, and she led us to a table in the center of... More

Came here for dinner after a long day of travelling. The french onion soup was amazing! The bread in the window is also worth a look!

On our early morning stroll today we decided to try Boudin. My son had a Denver Scrambler which was a ton of bread filled with eggs, ham and onion. It was a big meal. I had a three cheese sandwich which was good but not amazing. They had run out of bacon and I had to grab a second choice.... More

We went to the one in Macy's on Geary st. It's small but the service was good. Fast food and sourdough-what a combo. I had the Brie, apple, fig grilled on sourdough. Yum! The next day we visited the one on the pier and it was just as good. There is a museum there which is ok but as you go to... More

Every time I'm in San Francisco I stop at this bakery and buy a box of 6 loaves of sourdough to take home with me. There is no other sourdough bread that tastes as good as this. When I run out, if I don't have a trip planned I order it online. Needless to say, I'm hooked!

Every time we travel to San Francisco we always stop at their main bakery on our way out of town. It is located off of Geary at 10th ave. The bread is fresh and the variety is amazing. We bought 3 loaves, a few rolls and even 2 muffins and the bill was under $20--cannot beat the price or quality.... More

Holidaying from Australia, we came here for lunch on the day we arrived to the USA! What a way to start our holiday. The food was amazing. And the service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Compliments to the chef.... everyone's food was delicious, and set a very high standard for the rest of our trip. I... More
