Really cool place. I love deep dish pizza. .,..and what 2000 other people said. If you like deep dish pizza you can't go wrong here. I went on a Thursday night and I didn't have to wait that long for a table even though the place was packed. Definitely will head back when I'm in SFO.

We just finished walking around Alamo park and used TripAdvisor to find a lunch spot, we totally lucked out. We ordered the thin crust Greek and were blown away, way better than expected an a surprising highlight of our trip. Later evening we were talking with a friend living in SF and he had nothing but great things to say... More

Great local place to visit for deep-dish pizza -- the taste was similar to what I remember when I lived in Chicago, which impressed me. The beer list, while small, was pretty much craft beers, and the IPA I had with dinner was quite delicious. The atmosphere is noisy and the restaurant was full at 8p on a Tuesday, but... More

We had dinner here after reading good reviews online. Searching for it, we drove by the first time. It was dark and the signage is not great. Worth driving around the block for. :-) We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer; spicy but delicious. We also ordered a deep dish pizza. Our waiter recommended to order the small one... More

The pizza was outstanding. We also ordered a house salad which could be a meal in itself. Restaurant was crowded and noisy but guess that is because the food is great. We were here on a Friday night so maybe another time would be quieter?

Little Star was recommended by a colleague, and it certainly didn't disappoint! I'd say the deep dish is about as good as you'll find outside of Chicago. However, to me, it still doesn't compare to deep dish pizza from Chicago (there's just something about it... mmm...). I came by myself while on business, and was seated promptly. The service was... We dined at Little Star Pizza and really enjoyed our deep dish pizza. It had plenty of cheese and a delicious tomato sauce. There was a good selection of craft beers on the menu. The atmosphere was casual and hip, with original art on the walls.

Who'd have thunk that Chicago-style deep-dish pizza in California could be so amazing! I hear that this isn't the only great deep-dish in the Bay Area, either! MUST try the others! Yum!

We ate pizza 2 times in 3 days, that should tell you how much we liked it! My daughter loved the deep dish pizza.

The place was a bit small and we had to wait for seating, but everything was fixed once we got our thick crust pizza. The dough was amazing. Light, flaky, crunchy like nothing I ever encountered on a pizza before. Whatever you do, you must try the pesto included on your topping list. It made it and elite pizza. I... More
