The pizza was outstanding. We also ordered a house salad which could be a meal in itself. Restaurant was crowded and noisy but guess that is because the food is great. We were here on a Friday night so maybe another time would be quieter?

Little Star was recommended by a colleague, and it certainly didn't disappoint! I'd say the deep dish is about as good as you'll find outside of Chicago. However, to me, it still doesn't compare to deep dish pizza from Chicago (there's just something about it... mmm...). I came by myself while on business, and was seated promptly. The service was... We dined at Little Star Pizza and really enjoyed our deep dish pizza. It had plenty of cheese and a delicious tomato sauce. There was a good selection of craft beers on the menu. The atmosphere was casual and hip, with original art on the walls.

Who'd have thunk that Chicago-style deep-dish pizza in California could be so amazing! I hear that this isn't the only great deep-dish in the Bay Area, either! MUST try the others! Yum!

We ate pizza 2 times in 3 days, that should tell you how much we liked it! My daughter loved the deep dish pizza.

The place was a bit small and we had to wait for seating, but everything was fixed once we got our thick crust pizza. The dough was amazing. Light, flaky, crunchy like nothing I ever encountered on a pizza before. Whatever you do, you must try the pesto included on your topping list. It made it and elite pizza. I... More

After reading all the reviews I knew we wanted to head here for pizza one night. It smelled delicious when we walked through the doors. First the good - free street parking after 6pm close by, we were seated quickly even though it was crowded, garlic bread served like pizza - very good, even though our table was right by... More

Little Star Pizza is a real find in this off the tourist map neighborhood. If you want to hang out in a real neighborhood surrounded by the 30 somethings that love the city and can afford to live there then this is your place for a great slice of life and of pizza. Yes the place was packed and lively... More

Nice pizza, long wait. Not quite like the deep dish pizzas you'd find in Chicago. I was a little disappointed

Unpretentious little place that serves solid pan pizza (we had the italian sausage and my girlfriend still talks about it) . The place was packed and lively.
