Decided last minute to try this place when heard about it on a tour. We were able to get reservation surprisingly. Very small but cool place in Little Italy. The service was slow to poor. But great atmosphere and food. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and tasty. Wife and son had the mufalatta. I tried a bit and it... More

Went to have dinner because the hotel we were staying at was right across the street, they wouldn't seat us until the owner said it was ok because of reservation, they are Italian bistro so their old school Italian recipes so if you are looking for raviolis or pepperoni pizza forget if you have kids they probably won't want anything... My 13 yr old daughter and I went here for dinner on our first night in town, this restaurant was rated well on TA and it was only a few blocks from where we were staying. Unfortunately our dinners were not as good as many other reviewers. My daughter had a cheese pizza, she wanted pepperoni but they didn't have... More

I booked this months ago as the last time we were in San Francisco we couldnt get in and sadly it jsut didn't live up to my expectations. the food was nice but nothing special, the resteraunt was lovely inside but most are these days and the staff seemed to fluff around but everything still took ages. It wasn't a... More

A friend heard great things about this restaurant so we checked it out while in San Francisco. The place is cute but the food was average at best. It lacked the rich taste we're used to in Italian food. The wine selected was from Coppola's vineyard--again not impressed. Many years ago we toured his then newly-acquired vineyard and found the... Made a reservation for Sat night on open table, was not necessary so a bit of a hidden gem. Great ambience, hostess shared with us history of building, what Mr. Coppola uses the building for etc. we thought it may be a fancier place, but was very relaxed and comfortable, would recommend for a date night to share a pizza... Stumbled on this green building by chance looking for lunch. As it turned out, it is very closely associated with Francis Ford Coppola, and has plenty of his paraphernalia on the walls. With of without Coppola, the ambience of the place is great. It's very cozy, and the food is fine. Worth a visit.

I was brought here by a friend who knew I loved movies, she figured I'd find it enjoyable and boy did I ever. It was incredibly cute inside with tons of photographs and wine bottles to look at and admire. There was a cabinet with some awards too, that were nice to look at. The food was just as great.... Loved this Restaurant, even though I'm sure it's sometimes full of film buffs it still maintains the feel of a neighbourhood restaurant, without any pretentions it pulls off a relaxed feel of an established bistro/brasserie that could be anywhere in Paris or Rome. The food was simply prepared, the pasta perfectly cooked and the sauce rich and tasty and served... More
