Came here after lunch on a warm Saturday afternoon. The line was almost to the corner (there are further partitions going around the corner). After a ~20 minute wait, it was our turn to sample their delicious, creative concoctions, including Salted Caramel, Honey Lavender, Coffee Toffee, Earl Grey, and Ginger. Highly recommend Earl Grey to any tea lovers...it has a... More

Yesterday on a bus tour of San Francisco the tour guide had taken us past Bi-Rite, pointing out its very long Sunday afternoon line to get in for ice cream. We were back in the general area today so went by, and there was virtually no line. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes. And it was well worth the... More

I can not believe the ice cream here.... I've never had better... so many flavors I stare endlessly at the window every time trying to decide what's next on the list to get.

This small neighborhood spot is a real find! The salted caramel was superb, as promised! Often, I've found salted caramel too cloyingly sweet, but this was PERFECT! It was intensely flavored, the sweetness was restrained and balanced nicely with the touch of burnt caramel and salt. Also really enjoyed the ginger and the cinnamon with snickerdoodle. Wish I could have... More

Had to have Bi-Rite ice cream because of their book and reviews. It was a rainy morning but the ice cream was very good. Had fun in their Market too across the street

My first experience with the Bi-Rite Creamery was today. We stopped by, jumped in the sidewalk line..and then tried a variety of flavors and toppings. We only tried ice creams. Lots of people with the same idea, and it's no mystery why. Great Ice Cream! Your very near Delores Park...parking is quite the challenge. Enjoy!

Gone are the days for 25 cent ice-creams. Even Thrifty starts at around a dollar. Oh well. A single (you can get one flavor to two flavors) is nearly USD $ 3 here and goes up for double and triple. The good news is that the ice cream here is worth the price. There are many unique flavors and some... More

It really does serve great ice cream but it is a bit out of the way. The shop is close to the Caestro/Mission area of San Fran which is not anywhere near the harbour area (just to be aware). It is a bus / taxi journey but there are a lot of lovely cafés, restaurants and parks in the area... More

We rode the BART and walked from our Nob Hill hotel to get some ice cream. It was great, but having to walk back up those steep hills to our hotel undid all the weight gain from the ice cream. Next time we'll drive.
