Everything these guys do is outstanding. Even the vegan chocolate is great, and I can't even stand the word vegan. Psst! Try Sam's Sundae. Yes, it sounds weird. Yes, it's different from anything you've had before. However, it's one of the best things you'll ever put in your mouth.

the ice cream was really good and the price was average. There are a lot of interesting flavor combinations, and they will let you taste anything youd like. The line wraps around the corner, so be ready to wait.

Made the trek to the Divisadero location. Line of about 15 people that moved quick. The salted caramel was so good. Not sure it was worth going all the way there from our hotel in union square just for ice cream, but it was delicious! Looked like some good restaurants nearby, which might make it more worthwhile to head out... More

I first came here about 3 years ago when visiting San Francisco and it seems Bi-Rite has further increased in popularity. We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes which was slightly frustrating. We had the green tea, honey lavender, peach and balsamic strawberry flavours. My only criticism is that they no longer do the basil flavour, which... More

If it's good you will fined a line. People like good food and SERVICES. This place has ice cream and more. Go look around while you are waiting. The peanut butter chocolate is great along with what I will call the house fav. Salted Caramel.

Ok I got sucked into the hype of this place. My husband and I stood in line at least 25 minutes for ice cream. We actually got sundaes of 2 scoops each (yes it was a ridiculous amount) so we got to try 4 different ice creams. I got salted caramel and roasted banana. My husband got malted vanilla with... More

Bi-Rite has a great reputation and that's definitely what made us stop and shop. It therefore had a lot to live up to, which is maybe why I'm only rating it average: cos yeah- it was alright. Am I never going to be able to view ice cream the same way again after Bi Rite? I think I will live.... More

This place always has a long line down the street. That said, the line moves quickly and reward is the ability to sample the many unique flavors of this wonderful ice cream. We settled on the best known and always available salted caramel. It was outstanding. We will definitely be going back to try many of the other flavors during... More

When you see a line on the street with crowd control barrier you know something interesting is happening, a concert, a celebrity, or an accident. You don't expect to find a line for ice cream. We have a high standard for ice-cream. There are a few local shops where we are from that make some amazing gourmet flavors. Bi-Rite may... More

Don't let the line deter you as it's fast. The choices are unique and prices reasonable to sample 3 flavors. Tried peaches scoop and banana with chocolate swirl. Truly heaven on a cone. Freshly made. Enjoy!
