I work near their sister resto, Mochica, and patronize that often. Recently had the opportunity to visit Piqueos which is in Bernal Heights where we live. Piqueos is consistently warm, friendly, not rushed, homey, and the food is delicious. The menu is very consistent, and we have not had a dish we didn't like yet. For a last minute treat,... More

Small setting with great people. The food is off the hook! Good wine selection. Great place for wonderful food with good friends or co-workers....

Our bill came to $160 for 4 people, including two rounds of sangria, no dessert. We had the paella, plus numerous appetizers recommended by our waiter. We were all very hungry and left feeling quite full. We had several dishes with seafood, so I did not think our bill was out of line. The meal was good. I have been... More

This is a small restaurant in Bernal Heights. In the evening there is usually street parking. Food was very good to excellent. We shared several ceviches and all were good. Would also recommend the lomo saltado (grilled steak, french fries, tomatoes). Service was a bit slower than we'd have preferred but the staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.

This food was good but overpriced for what we got. The service was good but I would not go back here again.

We've eaten here a couple of times. The first time, the food was excellent and the service was thoughtful, even though we were seated near the kitchen door (usually a sign of disfavor). The next time the tapas seemed to lack flavor. May give it another shot

This place is so much better than its sister restaurants! Service is always outstanding, and although the restaurant is tiny, it has a great atmosphere and a warm vibe. Try the Peruvian beer, Cristal. Its amazing!

Really good Peruvian food. Piqueos is in the out of the way neighborhood called Bernal Heights. It's one of several interesting restaurants in that area. Stick to the dishes that are familiar to those who've been to Peru and you'll be happy.

We have appeared with reservations and without reservations and have enjoyed every single meal. Some of our family have toured Peru and believe this is reflective of some of the best Peruvian food they ate while actually in Peru. The staff is friendly and attentive; the food tasty and authentic; the wine list better than good (but not great); and,... More

It was about 8 pm on a Monday night and we decided to eat there, and we did not have any reservations. There were a few tables up front in the main dining room, but it appeared that the only table available was for 4-people. I felt they could've given us that table or the tables could've been separated and... More
