The sweetbreads were fantastic and mushroom fettuccini heavenly. Noisy but fun waiting staff. We will be back again.

Great place to visit! Oysters and steaks are perfect. Waiters are professional and helpful. It was nice to find out, that bartender serving us is the owner of the place - Jerome! Highly recommended. I will definitely be back there again!

Garcon has become one of our regular go-to restaurants over the past 2 years. Chef Arthur Wall and his fantastic team always provide a fine dining experience.

Full satisfaction was achieved with a three-cheese appetizer (brillat savarin was the best), a bottle of Appellation Saint-Estèphe, and coq au vin as our entree. The authentic French, friendly, and humorous wait staff (R. Pierre was ours) complemented our most perfect restaurant experience. In fact, I made reservations for tomorrow night!

The place has the ambiance, deco and set up of a real French bistro, including the attitude! ))) The food was good overall with French onion soup being very original. Some of the other dishes we ordered were good, but the Hamburguer was definitely not very good. Prices were OK and our Attempt to pronounce some french words of the... More

Wandered in after finding some of the more crowded restaurants in the district unsuitable. Seating was swift, despite the restaurant having a full bar and a party of around 12 people. My partner ordered the hamburger; I ordered the 3 cheese plate. Both were delicious. Serving time was slow - because with French food it's supposed to be a bit... More

Well known to my girlfriend, a first for me. The food was spot on, the waiters attentive and knowledgeable in the whole menu. There is a basil drink of some sort that the bar keeps going, whiffs of basil hitting the air as we ate. The sweet bread is exceptional as was the lamb. Will return again, great restaurant for... We've never been disappointed at Garcon. It's a great bistro with a "I think we're in Paris" vibe. Steak Frites are excellent; Moules are tasty; Fish preparations are fresh. We recently tried the specialty cocktails, which were also sublime. Highly recommended!

From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
