Late night ramen find.

We wanted a quick eat and walked down the street from our hotel to Katana-ya. We are not big ramen eaters, but the hotel staff recommended this place and it is Michelin recommended. There was a wait to get in (the place is busy), you put your name on a board by the front door and they come and... read more

Arriving in San Fran late at night and hungry, a friend took my picky niece and I to this spot. Glad they were open late though there was a wait. The spicy tofu ramen hit the spot on this cold night! My picky niece loved the Miso Ramen, ate all up! And wanted Togo back the next night. A must... More

I bought a Groupon for this place only a few weeks ago, but they told me that it was canceled a mere four days ago and I couldn't use it. This was annoying...but whatever. The service was ok. The server did not check to see how we were doing and just brought our bill assuming we were done.i had the... More

I took my sushi fanatic daughter here during our trip. The food was fantastic and we had terrific service. Fried tuna collar is a must!

I've eaten here a few times during business travel. Each time the wait pushed me almost to the limit of buying a burger to go someplace else, I was so starving. The various Ramens are delicious enough to make the wait worth it. Occasionally the wait service lags, but again the soups make up for it.

It was highly rated so we thought 'Must Try!'. There's indeed a queue but manageable. It took approx. 5mins after putting down our name on the self-helped queue list. We ordered 2 bowls of Katana-ya Ramen in Soya soup base and some ice-water. Servings are huge given American standards. I couldn't finish mine & gave 1/3 to my hubby. The... More

We go to this place because it has high rating and good recommendation. We are not disappointed at all. The ramen is spicy and the noodle is not too soft. It's just right like in Japan. I am a big fan of ramen and been to Japan many times. So I can tell this is the authentic ramen. I should... More

Loved this place. It's small so there was a wait but less than 30 minutes. The ramen was incredible and staff was very accommodating. We would definitely go back.

We arrived in town late and found this restaurant next to our hotel. OMG!!!! We had ramen noodle bowls-piping hot and loaded with goodies. Also, the beer was good and cold. Great way to start our vacation!

We had a very late lunch here and we're lucky as there wasn't a line. It's a small place but still it doesn't have that strong pork broth smell to it. The ramen was great, large portions as well. Comfort food!
