During our recent visit to SF, our son took us to The Crab house after I requested Dungeonous Crab for my birthday. We had a reservation for 5:30 and the host seated us at a table overlooking the bay with a view of Golden Gate Bridge. We ordered the Crab Feast for 4 and a bottle of Riesling wine. The... More

Whilst the prices at restaurants on the pier at Fisherman's Wharf are a tad expensive, I feel this place is one where it is well worth paying that bit extra for the wondreful experience. Crab is obviously the theme and I recommend the signature Killer Crab dish - " Lotsa Crab"

I had heard and read reviews of this restaurant and decided to go celebrate anniversary. Very smelly and dirty feeling. Restrooms were filthy. My wife felt sick and went to restroom. She vomited in trash can at sight and smell of restroom. She advised employee that trash can would need to be cleaned and bag changed. Employee barely acknowledged her... More

I'm absolutely shocked at this review, and this is the first I'm hearing of the situation. Even though we are busy, we take the cleanliness of our facilities very seriously, and give them frequent attention. Can you tell me the date you were there? I'll be sure to follow up with my staff to see if anyone recalls this. This... More

During two prior visits to SF I had patronized another restaurant on Pier 39, but the space was occupied by a new-to-us restaurant; we had also read a review of the Crab House and decided to move on down the pier. As the name implies, crab is front and center but there are ample other seafood choices, most notably shellfish...and... More

We had an amazing night at Crab House. Authentic, great ambiance, delicious food and lovely cocktails. If I ever go visit San Francisco again I'd definitely pay it a visit.

Read about this place before heading down to Pier 39. Had to order a full crab of course, but all of the food looked great! Delicious! Even had a bib because cracking crab can really get messy. I think employees could of acted a little happier to be there, but overall.. If you like seafood eat here!

With a wonderful view of Pier 39 at Fishermans Wharf. Do not forget to wear your apron because you can be sure that you will need it to protect your wearings from the Crab pieces and shells . The taste is delicious, the ambience is beautiful. To watch the sleeping seals is really interesting aswell. I would like to visit... More

smelly dining room. Poor food and very pricy for what you get. Servers looked like they were not happy doing their job. When in town again, I would not come back.

We're always thrilled to have out of town visitors with us, and jump at the chance to show them a taste of what makes SF seafood so great. I'm disappointed we missed that mark for you, Marcio. I wish you had left more detail about exactly what you felt could have been better. I know first impressions count for a... More

Enjoyed the meal..seafood was delicious. Great service-Irish young lady...was very fun to meet her as well as the meal. It was fast despite a very busy evening. My husband and son-in-law ordered ciopinno and they both raved!

We dined here as a part on a business trip and based on the reviews we were expecting great food. However, the sides were limited and the ones we did order was bland but the roasted garlic crab was delicious. I am not sure if I will return however if you are in town and you are just looking to... Sorry that we fell short for you! That's the last thing we want. It sounds like the crab hit the spot, but the sides left you wanting. I wish you had left more detail on which sides you guys ordered so we knew exactly where we could improve. Regardless, I know that we can do better and I hope you'll... More
