If you are in San Francisco, go immediately to this astounding restaurant, "1300 on Fillmore St." Enjoy the taste-bud-delighting cuisine prepared by Chefs David Lawrence and Max Hussey. So happy to have found this delightful place. Delicious food to dream about. Best Scallops, Salmon & Fried Chicken with Biscuits EVER. The South had better lookout!

Our group had about six different appetizers which we shared. Each one was better than the next. The most unusual appetizeer was the okra one---slivers of flash fried okra. I don't usually like okra, but this was really good! The sparkling wine on the happy hour list was surprisingly quite good. We had a great table by the window, and... More

The restaurant itself is very hip and cool, it has a great bar area with giant leather chairs. I like that. The food is kinda New Southern. Shrimp and grits were great. My catfish main was solid, not quite as inspired as the shrimp and grits. A good hip place to go with good food.

As far as the food goes it was nothing memorable; the ambiance is really great. It touts itself as a jazz restaurant - the night we were there they had no band and that was a LARGE part of why we chose it.

There's a feeling of energy, without its being overly loud, in the restaurant, giving the place a fun, yet sophisticated vibe. Two of us perused the well-conceived cocktail list while waiting for the other couple in our party of four to arrive. The bartenders were knowledgeable about the flavor profiles and were able to guide us to try new drinks... More

We were taken by close friends ( locals) who love this restaurant. The food was great and the service very warm and friendly. The music in the background was smooth professional and live. The shrimp and grits were fantastic. The snapper meuniere was delicious. Great desserts. I can't wait to go back

Fantastic food and fantastic wine list. The restaurant is warm and inviting and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The menu prices were above average but the food and wine were well above average in quality. A definite must dine.

Jazz is not the only hot thing thing on Fillmore. 1300 is a great restaurant with excellent service and a brilliant Southern American menu. The dry rub ribs were smashing.
