Nice place. Friendly staff and owner. Prices fair. And you get to watch the sea lions!! Hard to beat that. Those who comment that places on the wharf are tourists trap - uh yeah, so what were you expecting?

Let’s not pretend that this isn’t anything but a tourist trap within a tourist trap. You have a meal here for the view, and anything else is a bonus. So, we were pleasantly surprised by the food which was quite ok (and as with a lot of places in the US, there was lots of it). Seriously, just for a... More

We had lunch today, and the food was great. The views were amazing, loved being able to watch the sea lions. The service was really good, no issues with anything. Overall, good. I’m a vegetarian, and I would like to say, it would be wonderful if American restaurants marked on their menus the meals that are suitable for vegetarians to... More

beautiful scenery and view over Alcatraz, but generally that's all. They charged $10 for every jug of water (probably tap water by the taste), and $30 for grilled salmon which was okay but nothing further. The rice (side dish) was recycled (reheated) at least three times by the (literally) plastic feeling. Other meals were very small. Disgraceful.

Pier 39- Wonderful view of the Bay and sea lions on platforms. Food was average and overpriced. Service was very good. We went for lunch. I had a salad with salmon- No bread or cracker was served with it. Portion size was good. Flavor good but not worth $14. My sister had fish and chips. The fish was heavily breaded... More

We stopped by while touring the pier. It has a fantastic view of the bay and sea lions. The time of our visit was 3 pm, so it was relatively empty. The staff was attentive and friendly. We had a baby with us so we especially appreciate that. Drinks were always full. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish... More

I was visiting San Francisco and wanted to take my brother and sister-in-law to a nice place on Pier 39. This was the wrong choice. I will state the good first. The view is spectacular! Couldn't be better. It's a beautiful view of the Bay, and all the sea lions. And, it was clean. That's all for the good part.... More

We always come back to this place! My uncle lives in SF and I often visit with my family. Whenever we head down to Pier 39 (which is most visits) we always eat here. We came upon once several years ago after strolling around because it is all the way at the end of the pier, and found it had... More
