I had a fantastic meal and the service here was superb. Our waitress Mandy was so funny and helpful to recommend items from the menu. The views of Alcartraz were awesome, also the seal deck was smelly, but fun!

If you are wandering around SF - checking the shops at Pier 39 this is a great place for a quick bite to keep your tourist energy up.

We read the reviews and thought this would be the perfect place to unwind after our Alcatraz trip. But after spending fifteen minutes searching Pier 39, we couldn't locate the restaurant (we did see signs where it was supposed to be). I'm not sure if it's relocated or closed, but we were disappointed to miss out.

Nice place. Friendly staff and owner. Prices fair. And you get to watch the sea lions!! Hard to beat that. Those who comment that places on the wharf are tourists trap - uh yeah, so what were you expecting?

Let’s not pretend that this isn’t anything but a tourist trap within a tourist trap. You have a meal here for the view, and anything else is a bonus. So, we were pleasantly surprised by the food which was quite ok (and as with a lot of places in the US, there was lots of it). Seriously, just for a... More

We had lunch today, and the food was great. The views were amazing, loved being able to watch the sea lions. The service was really good, no issues with anything. Overall, good. I’m a vegetarian, and I would like to say, it would be wonderful if American restaurants marked on their menus the meals that are suitable for vegetarians to... More

beautiful scenery and view over Alcatraz, but generally that's all. They charged $10 for every jug of water (probably tap water by the taste), and $30 for grilled salmon which was okay but nothing further. The rice (side dish) was recycled (reheated) at least three times by the (literally) plastic feeling. Other meals were very small. Disgraceful.

Pier 39- Wonderful view of the Bay and sea lions on platforms. Food was average and overpriced. Service was very good. We went for lunch. I had a salad with salmon- No bread or cracker was served with it. Portion size was good. Flavor good but not worth $14. My sister had fish and chips. The fish was heavily breaded... More
