Site of many happy memories with family and friends, I returned to E Tutto Qua on a layover. Real Italians and real Italian food. They remembered me. The place was hopping on Friday evening but I was made to feel welcome and ate and drank happily, enjoying the show, finishing up with an affogato and a grappa on the house.

Looking for a place in San Francisco where you can eat real authentic Italian food? Stop searching and reserve your table here. You'll not only enjoy the great food, you'll be served by a bunch of enthousiastic waiters who sing along with the Italian music. Great antipasti (15$) and Tagliata di Manzo (26$). (-) noisy place, not ok for a... More

Such a wonderful restaurant! We found it by chance roaming around and it was a gem! The staff is SO friendly, singing the whole time to the Italian songs playing on the sound system, which livens the whole atmosphere and the food is incredible. As my son said, "it was good food and great people. What more could we ask?"

Almost Everything about this was brilliant. We arrived without a booking and had to wait for 15 minutes - we were allowed to wait in the bar and given some nice light bites to eat. When seated, the food was brilliant from start to finish. The only negative was that we were charged for the limoncello aperitif. Other than that,... More

With good reviews and a location convenient to the Beach Blanket Babylon theater I made reservations for dinner. The employees are very friendly and welcoming and that is what sticks with me most when I think about our dinner. The food was good with nothing standing out that I would rave about. We had a pizza for an appetizer. It... More

First let me say I travel tips Italy annually....for the food, wine and people. This restaurant hit all three out of the park! Agree with someone's review that if you are looking for a quiet candlit date place, this is not it. The waiters are happy, personable and truly enjoy interacting with the quests. The pizza is even better than... More

I have been here so many times and is always amazing. The service is great, loud and friendly, so if u look for a quiet place go somewhere else. If you want to have fun come here. Take a bottle of wine, enjoy your dinner and finally ask for the amazing tiramisu, for sure they r gonna take care of... More

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighborhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighborhood home.
