This is a conveyor belt restaurant, they churn tables and customers through as quick as possible. The food therefore reflects this and tastes like it has been reheated, I had pork which definitely had been hanging around and was served to me luke warm. average dining experience and one to avoid if you're looking for somewhere decent in san francisco

Great place for a business lunch. Be sure to make reservations as the lunch crowd comes in fast and both floors can really fill up. This was my second visit... Service was good this time (as was last time) but not overly friendly. For my beverage, I asked for some cranberry juice mixed with Sprite and my server seemed a... More

Having read a few Tripadvisor reviews we opted for this place main because of the location convenience. The ambience was lovely, it felt upmarket. The staff were all friendly and helpful, we trusted their advice and they didn't let us down. I went for pasta stuffed with braised beef (I forget the exact name) it was perfect. Also a great... We were terribly disappointed with this so called "italian" restaurant which had average service and terrible food. The menu wasn't even in italian and none of the meals resembled anything close to a traditional italian restaurant. The staff itself was nothing close to being italian either. It was also extremely noisy which made things even worse.

The food and service was first class. Everything was perfect from drinks, appetizers, main courses to desserts. The lamb and pasta dishes were outstanding. We sat upstairs which was quiet and secluded.

Initially my aunt, uncle, mom, and I had reservations at Barbacco at 8:00. When we requested a change to our reservation for an earlier time at 6:30, the restaurant was extremely accommodating but sent us next door to Perbacco where they had a seat. Our waiter, Tiffany, provided excellent service and offered a wonderful recommendation of the braised beef pasta.... More

Business colleague recommended we meet there. Service attentive, food good, but curb appeal doesn't stand out, so you have to know you want to go there. You will be rewarded.

We enjoyed our dinner, and service was quite good. Very nice wine list. Even had a number of white wine entries from one of our favorite region, Camania: greco di tufo and falanghina. However I would not describe the food as exceptional. It happened to be the best meal we had during this trip to San Francisco. But mainly because... More

Excellent restaurant, very consistent over the years. Reservations are a must if you want a table. Wine selection is outstanding and the sommelier is very helpful. Try to park near the restaurant, circle several times and you will find a spot. The valet is just too expensive. All items on the menu are very good and generous amount. It can... More
