The food here was delicious. I had the Tajarin -- Tagliatelle with 5-hour pork and porcini sugo. Tables are not too close upstairs so it was possible to have a conversation even though the place was packed. Friendly and efficient service Good wine list.

Living in San Francisco, we've eaten at several outstanding Italian restaurants and Perbacco isn't one of them. The Fritto Misto appetizer, which is a surprisingly small portion, was not particularly hot or crisp and the marinated vegetables should have been better described as blanched-vegetables-with-vinaigrette. The duck breast entree was generous but tough. The scallops were warm and well-seasoned. The pasta... More

Came here with two friends and had a fantastic, sort of decadent meal - started with a nice charcuterie plate, had a fantastic fresh homemade pasta meal....all with nice mixed drinks coming at regular intervals. We were well taken care of, ate well, laughed - had a great time. Recommended!

We found this restaurant quite by chance. Actually Google Maps found it when I searched for nearby Italian restaurants. We sat in a booth in the bar area as it was quieter than the main dining room which was quite lively. I started out with the octopus appetizer. It was the best I've had, even better than Babbo's (sorry Mario!).... More

We made reservations at this place based on good reviews from the show "Check Please Bay Area." We arrived few minutes before our time and were promptly seated. However, our seating on the upper floor was rather dark with only average and somewhat gloomy ambience. Our waitress was quite knowledgeable and friendly and took care of our vegetarian needs by... Our son picked this place to meet for dinner largely because of its location close to his office. We split a couple of appetizers (Roots & Shoots made for a delightful mix of sweet & tangy flavors across a variety of root vegetables; and the Burrata Cheese was terrific) and then moved on to appetizers of our own for the... This is a conveyor belt restaurant, they churn tables and customers through as quick as possible. The food therefore reflects this and tastes like it has been reheated, I had pork which definitely had been hanging around and was served to me luke warm. average dining experience and one to avoid if you're looking for somewhere decent in san francisco

Great place for a business lunch. Be sure to make reservations as the lunch crowd comes in fast and both floors can really fill up. This was my second visit... Service was good this time (as was last time) but not overly friendly. For my beverage, I asked for some cranberry juice mixed with Sprite and my server seemed a... More

Having read a few Tripadvisor reviews we opted for this place main because of the location convenience. The ambience was lovely, it felt upmarket. The staff were all friendly and helpful, we trusted their advice and they didn't let us down. I went for pasta stuffed with braised beef (I forget the exact name) it was perfect. Also a great...
