Great menu with delicious food yet almost impossible to hear my fellow diners and waitstaff. After dinner my throat felt raw after straining it. Advise going here if you want to experience the food and not enjoy the company of others.

First make reservations. Seats are in demand the later you go. I recommend to mix and match different dishes and split them all. For appetizers try the salumi Misti which is a nice selection of different salumi. The pasta is excellent, especially the Pappardelle with short rib ragu. Side dishes are a must to experience, especially the pan roasted cauliflower... More

Perbacco is down in the financial district and might be missed by those who head over to fancier sections of town. If so, they are missing a treat. The food is imaginative, well-crafted, and memorable. Everything was delicious, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. Others have noted the handmade pasta and it does deserve all of the compliments.... More

We loved this place so much we went back twice! You have got to try the duck gnocchi, soooo good! Our desserts were masterpieces and some of the most creative and delicious we tried our whole trip.... love this place!

I recently went to Perbacco with a friend when we were wishing for some Italian food and wasn't disappointed! The handmade pasta here is really top notch - we had two different versions, a squid ink pasta and a gnocchi and both were tasty. I would also recommend the salumi platter appetizer, as it was one of the best I've... More

After arriving at our hotel around 6pm on a Friday night, we were not sure where we could get a good meal within walking distance and with no reservation. Perbacco was the perfect choice. The biggest challenge was deciding what to order..... the seared scallops were amazing!!! In my opinion the prices were excellent for the delicious food and wine... More

I am a resident of SF and feel very blessed to have all the wonderful choices of places to eat in SF. Perbacco is at the top of the list for me because the food is outstanding, the staff is polished without being snobs, the room is gorgeous and the prices are more than fair especially if you stick with... Four of us shared plates of wonderful food. We ordered 4 appetizers (I remember the soup, hamachi plate, a salad, and another), and 4 entrees (I recall duck gnocchi, a fish, duck breast, and another) plus a side of Brussels sprouts, a bottle of wine, and it was all great tasting and well prepared. We added a dessert that we... More

Wonderful dinner and service - I will definitely go back to Perbacco and suggest to family and friends. Our meal was delicious - the entrees are a great portion and they serve the pasta dishes in small or large portions, which is great if you want to try a couple. The servers are very knowledgeable and make great suggestions for... More
