Mostly Great

Happy hour beer pricing was very good. Fortunately they told us that if we stayed in the bar area for dinner, we could keep ordering beer at the HH prices, but not if we moved into the restaurant. So we stayed in the bar. New York strip steaks were outstanding as we're the pork chops, pot roast... read more

It was so refreshing to be seated immediately and given such wonderful service. The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait too long either. The butterscotch pudding was a yummy finish to a beautiful meal.

The ambience of the restaurant was certainly a lot nicer than what one would expect for a mall. The service was good, the meals came quickly and we're certainly tasty but in the land of excess, the size of the meals we got relative to what we paid meant we felt we paid too much.

The open-style restaurant uses a large square brick-pit filled with burning wood and charcoal with a large steel grate suspended over it to grill steaks to perfection while imparting a slightly smoky flavor. The food, drinks and service were surprisingly good for a mall operation

I ate here with a business colleague while recently in San Francisco. We both had the ribeye, mine with the bone in and his without the bone. These are the most expensive steaks on the menu ($58 and $56 respectively), and the bone-in is one of their feature offerings, so I expected that we were in for a treat, I... More

Ate dinner there Saturday 6/27 and had a very pleasant experience. 3 diners 3 starter salads 1 bottle of wine 2 had the filet 1 had their veggie main dish 3 different side dishes The prices were very reasonable considering it is a steakhouse and it is in SF. We paid with tax and tip $250 which is normally way... More

I was exhausted & hungry from running around the mall and arrived at this fabulous restaurant. My family had the steak which they noted to be superb and I had the fish which was great. I would return with out hesitation. The service was great although we had a waitress in training who was fabulous. Great atmosphere - little noisy... More

This place served me and my fiancée two of the best steaks we have ever eaten. My partner can be fussy with her steaks as they usually come out too rare especially in America but her medium well New Yorker came out spot on as did my medium rare rib-eye. The quality of the meat was very, very good. One... More

I am a Morton's guy all of the way and maybe I have been spoiled but I tried this as it was someone Else's birthday. I gotta be honest, while the food was OK, the service really needs to be picked up. Its not the best service and I think if they get some good customer service staff they will... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
