The hardest part was trying to decide which item to get. I finally went with the Dungeness crab sandwich. Wow was that good. Had a wedge salad too. This one of the few San Francisco restaurants where I wished I could order every item. Soft shelled crab BLT, cioppino, whole crab, fish and chips... Even the fries and slaw were... More

The people who work here are incredibly friendly and helpful when you're deciding what to order. The food is delicious and not expensive. We particularly loved the lobster rolls.

The specials are always great, like the oyster po'boy and the jailhouse oysters on the half shell. Amazing lobster roll, crab cheese melt and more. Nice wines & beers too. Helpful staff, sometimes there's a wait.

Noticed this busy restaurant on a walk down Market St. Decided to try it later and not disappointed. Very nice food, particularly the cioppino, delicate balance between the spiciness and the seafood. Limited choice of wine but we enjoyed the alborino. Service was so so as focus was for quick turnover.

Six of us stopped in at the Woodhouse Fish Company for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away at a comfortable table. All of us had the tasty clam chowder and we also had a soft shell crab BLT and fish tacos that were both "melt in your mouth" excellent. Great service too, we will definitely be... More

I had one chance to try to find the best Dungeness crab in SF before flying out. Many Yelp review claimed the crab roll here was the best. The "roll" appeared to be an over-toasted extra thick slice of bread split down the middle. The disappointing part was the destruction of the crab by adding capers and other items that... More

AT first I thought - should I really be spending $28 dollars on a sandwich? Turns out the answer is yes! I had the Toasted-Buttered Dungeness Crab Roll- I paid more for the extra meat - and it must have been a pound in that sandwich. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc - it was just great. The service... More

Oysters, fish tacos, soup, and pretty much everything here is fresh, good, and worth eating. I'd go back all the time if I could.
