OK just left. Wait person did not tell us of the specials, yet the people around us got the full list. Ordered the drinks, brought the wrong thing The clam rolls were totally over cooked and the crab linguini was completely uninspired. seventy nine bucks is much too expensive for what was delivered to our table. with this said, the... Went to this place after seeing it from the street car heading towards Castro, my instincts are usually correct. What a fabulous little casual restaurant. Last night we went to Pacific Catch, highest seafood restaurant on trip advisor, which was ok and definitely nothing special. However Woodhouse Fish and co was excellent, the clam chowder was yummy, sweet and fresh... More

Simply everything was fantastic here - service, atmosphere and most of all the food. I had the Grilled Artichoke with bay shrimp and Dungeness crab - OMG!! I think it was the best food I have ever had!! The New England Clam Chowder was too die for! All with a cold Anchor Steam - O-O-OMG!

If you are looking for a lunch type menu (tuna melts, crab rolls etc.) you'll do just fine here. Nothing extraordinary but nothing bad either. Only disappointment was the MacDonald's type fries -- skinny and obviously frozen.

I actually was turned on to this restaurant by "Check Please - Bay Area", and decided to take some out of town relatives for a meal. The relatives are from Portland, Oregon, so are accustomed to fresh fish. This was not a disappointment! All 5 of us loved it! Great Fish n Chips, oysters that are very fresh and an... More

Crabs were not in season but still the house was packed. Smallish menu, out of some items, but liked what we ordered. Sat at the counter. Nice time.

We just happened upon this spot in the late afternoon -- I had a lobster roll (3 oz.) and my friend a softshell crab blt - we finished every morsel. The french fries were thin and crispy, just the way I like them!

Great service- arrived without a reservation and were promptly seated - which was more luck than anything else as it was busy. Shared two entrees with my party of 4 which was adequate. The fish not chips was good value however I found the batter a little thick for my palate but that it is a personal preference being used... More

This was our last night and i love seafood. We went here as it is on Fillmore, close to our rental. I craved the Lobster roll but oddly that was the item we ordered I liked the least. We loved the staff...down to earth, helpful and laid back normal. We ordered Asparagus, Crab cakes and the Lobster. The asparagus was... More
