I had one chance to try to find the best Dungeness crab in SF before flying out. Many Yelp review claimed the crab roll here was the best. The "roll" appeared to be an over-toasted extra thick slice of bread split down the middle. The disappointing part was the destruction of the crab by adding capers and other items that... More

AT first I thought - should I really be spending $28 dollars on a sandwich? Turns out the answer is yes! I had the Toasted-Buttered Dungeness Crab Roll- I paid more for the extra meat - and it must have been a pound in that sandwich. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc - it was just great. The service... More

Oysters, fish tacos, soup, and pretty much everything here is fresh, good, and worth eating. I'd go back all the time if I could.

Recently spent a few days in San Francisco and on my first night my friends took me to the Woodhouse Fish Company on Market Street. They suggested we went early as it gets full quickly in the evening - I am not surprised ! I chose the Cioppino which , if you have never had it before , is a... More

This small restaurant is a neighborhood delight, always serving fresh and well-prepared seafood and fish. Since there are only about 15 tables, there may be a line, but the food is worth the wait, and the line moves quickly. If you're craving fish and chips, this is the place to go; but I like to watch for their specials, which... More

Extremely charming restaurant, nice decor and nice atmosphere! Good location directly on Market St. Good and friendly staff, efficient. Food: mainly fish dishes, tendency to heavy food (Fish and Chips and similar dishes), but good taste. Conclusion: good place for a quick bite at lunch time!

This is your typical hole in the wall place that has the most amazing food you can expect. We were expecting a little fancy restaurant when looking at the menu and the prices but not at all. The food was amazing, so we didn't care about the scenery.
