Had breakfast and was blown away. Old friends met and thiroughly enjoyed the food. Service was great, but the food... Oh my. Try the french toast. Or the goat cheese custard. How about the bloody marys with scotch or mescal. Wow! Can't wait to go back.

But won't forget... The food was impeccable. The wine too... Except that they kept forgetting to bring the suite for the flights we ordered with our dinner. It was very weird. They were completely disorganized and it was unpleasant. But we have tasted amongst the best cuisine ever: simple stuff such as "Avocado Toast, Pickled Jalapeño, Capers and Mezzo Secco"... More

My experience of Nopa doesn't resonate with some of the less positive reviews. We booked ahead, we're warmly welcomed on arrival and were allocated a table on the mezzanine which was comfortable, had plenty of space and from which you could enjoy views of the whole restaurant and kitchen. Our server was friendly, helpful and made sure we didn't over... More

Overall my wife and I enjoyed decent food, but nothing to write home about. I ended up with farro with a poached duck egg on top and my wife had salmon. For the price of the items, I expected things to be a little bit better. The one saving grace was the Manhattan I ordered, which was fantastic. I will... More

As the other reviews state Nopa is an above average restaurant. It has a very loyal clientele and it is one of the few upscale restaurants on Divisidero. The downside if you are the slightest bit claustrophobic is the noise and vacuum packed sardine atmosphere, especially in the bar area. If you are into being seen by your hip friends.... More

My recent trip to San Francisco was filled with some of the best & freshest food I have ever tasted. NOPA was no exception. I see that another reviewer wrote about the quinoa & trout. I have never liked trout. Our server was so emphatic that I just trust it would be like nothing I had tasted, to order it... More

I go to Nopa 3-4 times per month. Everything I've ever eaten here is incredible! Nopa is bustling and vibrant, seemingly all the time. I've been at 11 am on Sunday morning and 1 am on a Thursday night and the atmosphere is generally the same. It is in the Western Addition. Crowd is usually casual hipster, but I never... More

Went for Brunch and had the custard french toast with caramelized apples, maple butter, with soft scrambled eggs and a mimosa. Looking around at other's dishes, they looked good with equally fresh ingredients. I had great service although some of the other reviewers indicate they did not. When I was there, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I went there during our vacation due to good reviews. We were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. The bottle of wine was excellent too. Maybe the best wine I ever had. (56 USD) Minus is the long waiting time to get a table. Plus is that they call you so you can wait in one of the... More
