Good food!

My husband and I visited Capurro's for lunch while walking around Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. We weren't sure what to expect as we had not done any research on the restaurant. I had a 1/2 crab sandwich with a cup of clam chowder and fries, and my husband had the fish tacos with fries... read more

The restaurant serves a wide variety of food for all appetites. Clean, good service and food, but as with all other restaurants on Fisherman's wharf, it is expensive.

This restaurant has an old western saloon feel complete with an old piano in the bar area. The food is average but the service is 5-star. Plenty of outdoor seating for people watching .

Owner Paul Capurro and his sons (3rd + generation native) have a wonderful way of welcoming their new guests as well as charming their regulars. A really comfortable place to visit for a drink or a meal near, but away from the tourist vortex of Fisherman's Wharf. Just a delight for any day or evening.

This was one of the best dungeness crabs we ever had in SF. Combined with a lobster quiche, white wine, and a cake at the end this was a great meal and a very good experience. The server was very friendly, and the service in all very quick and appropriate. I can only recommend this place.

My husband and I were out for a late dinner and came across this restaurant. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Suggested sea bass, which my husband got and loved! I got the filet mignon. Cooked perfectly and tasted great. Little pricey to bring kids but great for two. Atmosphere was very nice.

Lobster Ravioli and Gnocchi were a hit! Waiter was attentive and atmosphere was homey. Right across street from Argonaut Hotel.

You know it’s good when the locals are there. Bar staff super friendly, knowledgeable about menu, specials etc…..my drinks were not on HH, only well and draft beer, but the food they had available for the HH specials was fantastic, local fresh produce and hand made batter for the zucchini fires, not frozen packaged….Awesome! That gives you an idea on... More
