It was good.

We had the crab. The food was good although we didn't receive everything that was supposed to come with the meal. I was a bit disappointed in the service as they were not that busy. We found that we had to wait for the check amongst a few other issues. All in all, the crab is what gave the... read more

1st night in San Francisco and happened upon Capurro's. Clam Chowder was excellent in the bread bowl. My family also had Dungeness Crab Sandwich and Fish n Chips. All meals were very good and the service was also excellent!

Before or after a walk on the Aquatic Cove path, make Capurro's your meal stop. The oysters on half shell are always fresh and the fried calamari very tasty. If you can't decide between cold or hot seafood, they offer both patters at a reasonable price (that is, for the location). This restaurant is my favorite place on the Embarcadero... More

Nice food and nice people! Quick service. The kids menu has a good range of stuff they like- pizza, pasta, burgers with fries and you can order an extra side of vegetables. The kids menu comes with a cookie too. The main menu had a good range too. Overall a nice family restaurant and meal.

We recently had lunch at this restaurant, it was average and not worth the money that we paid, even a few fries added would have made the meal more desirable. Don't waste your tourist dollars here there are lots more to choose from.

The crab, oysters & fresh seafood was awesome! I can't wait to have more. It is a bit farther south from Pier 39; prices are reasonable with nice indoor seating.

The price puts it into one of those categories where the expectation isn't outrageous, but it is high. The problem is that the restaurant does not meet that level of food, service, variety and ambience. It's just above average. Sort of a seafood slash kind of Italian place that has first of all an identity crisis to resolve, then a... More

Traveled with an 18 year old. This was great for us . Very welcoming, we ate and lingered, felt no pressure to leave. Food was very good, lots of choice and some great pasta. Stayed for dessert. would recommend, especially for families, large groups

For a place as iconic as Fisherman's Wharf you would expect better food and service. We would have been better buying from one of the street vendors. The service was okay, but the timing of everything was horrible. The dungeness was not good for the price as it was very soggy and flaccid. I always judge a seafood restaurant by... More

Was highly recommended by both the host and the waitress to try the fried calamari - as you can see by the picture it was over fried and pretty average flavor/texture. The location is nice, though there isn't really any views of the bay/Golden Gate Bridge. Service was relatively slow and the server didn't speak English natively. Overall a 3... More
