More seafood...

There are lots and lots of seafood restaurants around Fishermens Wharf that serve great seafood - and Capurros is another one of them. We enjoyed Fish & Chips although they were a little fatty, the fries which were nice as they left the skin on and steamed mussels - along with the inevitable... read more

May be it's just me, but I found this place very disappointing. Felt like a tourist trap. I just spent a long weekend in San Francisco and ate at many places and by far this was the most disappointing. Place is very unclean. Then the issue of there were out of certain alcohol. How does a restaurant in a major... More

We had a wonderful dinner here! Very warm and welcoming... and prices were reasonable. The restaurant is so much more than the average Fisherman Wharf restaurant. The owner took the time to come around and talk to lots of the tables and our waitress was Brittany who was outstanding! We will definitely be back ~

This was the first place we ate at in San Francisco. The atmosphere was relaxing, service wonderful and food fantastic. I had the Salmon and it was very good. They adapted the side to have vegetables vs. french fries. Waiter was Wener and he was very good and attentive.

I've had the chance to eat at three restaurants in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco. I think this is the one I would return to. I ordered the Wharf Special, which included a Dungeness Crabcake, Garlic Sautéed Shrimp, and Scallops. All were very flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Moist, tender, and decent portions. It's hard for me to judge... More

We loved the $4 'bar bites' option at Capurro's! The food was tasty and the service was friendly and super fast. The bar bite meals were a perfect lighter dinner option and better for this tourist's wallet! Order at the bar and sit in the bar area as opposed to the restaurant section. Easy. We had the fish tacos, fried... More

Fish and chips for lunch during Fleet Week with the Blue Angels flying over as we ate outside. The fish and chips were delightfully light and there were more than I could eat. Some of the best I have ever had. The service was just as great.

Were staying at the hotel across the street and asked for recommendations. They suggested Capurros and were spot on. Then as we were walking in to the restaurant, a couple walking out said they lived in San Fran and this was their favorite, too. It lived up to the hype. We walked in (party of four) and were seated promptly.... More
