Shared the family feast, which, I must admit left me a tad puckish. Lots of dishes with little fat or protein and my tummy must need that to feel sated. Not much of their famous bread!

We wandered in and were intrigued by the simple lunch menu. The bread was excellent and kefir butter was excellent so we looked forward to a good meal. We had the cold stone soup which was a bad borscht, we had the special sandwich which was inedible and we had something else which escapes my mind but was of the... More

My family took me to this delicious restaurant and we gave it the universal tick of approval. Service was attentive and very knowledgeable. The menu was interesting and we could've chosen any dish - we opted for the set selection for the four of us- and loved it. The bread was great - always a measure of excellence! The wine... More

Really good food including vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere. Not cheap but worth it. Good serving sizes though. Try the goat cheese fondue. Heaven!

Checked out this place after reading good reviews and it exceeded expectations. A menu of sharing plates sounds fairly simple, but each dish we had was unexpected and utterly delicious. The atmosphere was low key but very welcoming and the staff were a delight. The desert menu was less appealing, but you'll likely be full from the main course as... More

Heard good things about Bar Tartine so headed over for brunch. Was disappointed when we looked at the menu as we were looking for more of a classic brunch but when our food and drinks arrived, those feelings went out the window, We shared the beet soup and the chicken with mushrooms and they were both outstanding - by far... When I heard the food was something that sounded eastern European, I went to the restaurant out of politeness. What a wonderful experience we had! First of all, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome-that's important to me. Our wait staff was helpful, answering questions we had about the unusual ingredients, making recommendations that were inspired, and even knew what... More

I have to admit, that based on the menu, I likely would NEVER have chosen to dine here. I can't pronounce or identify (fauna? Floral? Fowl?) most things on the menu. But friends selected it, so off we went. Amazing. The care that goes into preparing this food is mind boggling and the resulting flavors are mind blowing. Dishes are... More
