I had a late business meeting at the St Regis in San Francisco that carried into dinner. Not knowing the area and where the nearest top restaurants were, we decided to just try Ame at the St Regis. What a pleasant surprise, the meat was excellent the flavor of the restaurant was Asian Fusion. The fish was fresh, the sushi... More

Good service. Excellent food. Impressive wine menu. The restaurant is a little bit expensive (tasting menu) but it worth a visit. I recommend and will be back

Had dinner on Christmas Day there. Excellent service, polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. Beautiful amuse bouche-uni on a nori chip with a mint foam. Also, loved the desserts

The signature dish and chef Lisa Meal was excellent. Will try again. The wine last was extensive. Everyone had a taste of each plate-even though this is not family style, and the result read "wow".

an elegant restaurant with a somewhat odd combination of sushi and Asian inspired food. Had a simple bibb lettuce salad which was nice but rather over dressed. Then a pork main dish of port chop with some pork belly. It was pretty good. the pork belly was overly fatty. Good service.

Nice restaurant with an inventive menu. Food was well presented and well cooked. Portions were a good size. Waiter was very well versed in the menu and the Sake recommendation was excellent. Reasonable expensive.

The restaurant is quite elegant with a simple but delicious menu. The menu consist of 2 parts: raw bar and cooked dishes. The only non changing plate in the menu is the chef's signature dish. It is definitely worth trying. Also the raw scallops, topped with sea urchin and caviar is heavenly. The wine list is rich and in case... More

I really enjoyed my meal here. I needed a break from my friends and snuck down the street to here. Had a delicious tasting menu with very fresh and creative cuisine.

I 'm debating between a 3 or 4 star for AME. It's definitely not worthy of a 1 Michelin Star. Went for dinner and ordered the ceviche for appetizer which was well executed. Ordered steak with bone marrow medium which had no flavor and the steak was slightly rubbery. Not sure how this place got a Michelin 1 star, so... More

Great food! Absolutely magnificent, even for a large party of 7. Great service! Great wine list! The waiters were very attentive. I cannot wait to return.
