Good choice for casual meal.

We had a positive experience here despite other less than stellar reviews. We had breakfast here and our server was nice and helpful. The food was good and the view was excellent. We would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Our group of four stopped here for lunch before visiting Ghiardelli Chocolate store. There were tables outside and in - both with views of the bay. We sat inside due to the very cool breeze. Two of us had burgers with sweet potato fries - very good. The other two had fish and chips - not so good. Looked like... More

Pretty much anything else in the area would be a better bet. This has a classic American flair with it's diner look, but the costs are anything but classic. $14 on Andrade for a sandwich was just beyond reasonable. I feel like I could have gotten a better meal for less anywhere near the bay. Limited seating, but good views.... More

A coupon from a map brought us here since we were hungry & in the area, we tried it. It was odd their service was so poor considering their amazing location & view. Everything was rather grimey looking. I ordered Cabernet & they brought me Chardonnay lol. The person next to me ordered a chocolate shake & they brought strawberry.... More

This is an interesting chain of diners, very American Diner style with a brash decor. We stopped at this location mainly because of the totally stunning views over the bay. We both has "fish and chips"-I had standard fries and my wife had sweet potato fries. The food was good, not stunning but good.

hubby loves the old time diner's, so this stop was a must on our recent trip and as it turned out it is where we had our very first meal in San Francisco after dropping our luggage and going for a walk. the atmosphere is great, decor is awesome and food was totally delicious. meals are huge, some tables have... In the middle of San Fran, this is a great treat! 50's Americana theme with Cars, muisc and food to compliment each other. Located in Ghiradelli Square near the water and the Chocolate..... This was our late night option when all the shops closed up and it was getting dark. We were at the Square and decided to pop in.... More

This kitschy diner in Ghiradelli Square was a great way to start our first full day in San Francisco. The Lori's Special omelette and French toast were both good, and the waitress was very attentive. Try to get one of the booths overlooking the bay.

You really couldn't ask for a more prime location in Ghirardelli Square!, and the neon sign and 50's styling is spot-on, but at the end of the day when eating out for a meal, the food must be something delicious or at least good. I can't even give this an average rating, because for the price, it must be better... More
