great lunch spot

I found this place accidentally. I was visiting the Moscone Center and went out for lunch. After finding it, I visited every day for lunch. I also tried for dinner and also for a late night stop. For lunch, it was quiet and I was guaranteed to get a seat. The food was good and reasonably priced... read more

Good hours, nice decor for a bar, but very tiny menu and tasteless mac and cheese. Don't think we'd go back. Service was so-so (brought wrong item).

One of a number of restaurants in this area, the food was very good. Service was generally fine but I do dislike others' plates being cleared when one of the group of four is still eating! Maybe a little to learn in that department? Wine list was varied with some excellent wines on offer. Will need to be careful to... More

I've been here dozens of times due to it's location. I don't know if I would go so often if it was not so close! It's a bit pricey, but the food is good and they know us. I've had brunch, lunch, and dinner there. I'm not sure I would make a special trip to eat here, but it is a... More

My wife and I went here for dinner last night and we had a fantastic dinner. We arrived earlier than expected so we had a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was super cool, chatted us up and made great drinks. We sat down for dinner and was served by a very friendly guy who was another good conversationalist. There... More

I had a group of 9 for a birthday dinner. We got drinks pretty quickly, but then it took a while to place our orders and it was a very long wait before the food came out. The ribs were delicious, as was the steak, mac and cheese and cauliflower. The salmon was quite undercooked (for 2 people). The fries... More

Very nice appetizers and drinks at happy hour. Relaxed atmosphere, good food and pleasant staff. Not too far from Giant Stadium.

One of the only places open late in San Francisco, wasn't expecting much, boy was I surprised...chic urban decor, and really good food. Some of the best bolognese I ve ever had, pretty good prices, and friendly engaging staff. My husband had the burger, and the other guy had ribs, all were great. Would definitely recommend.

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. It was pricey, don't get me wrong, but amazing food. Fun cocktails. Great service. Someone had a three year old (or so) in the bar area, which was weird, but everyone seemed equally bugged out, so I didn't feel it reflected on the place. We were in town for a... More

Dined here while staying on business in downtown SF. Although a bit small, the service and the food were very good. I was in the mood for a burger and they had a very well done option with parmesan fries. Presentation was great (yes for a burger) as were the fries - they were very tasty. The service was really... Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
