Nice place, good food, NO SECURITY OUTSIDE

We had a wonderful dinner, the food was delicious, the service excellent and the place was modern, elegant and nice. It was one of the only restaurants that could reserve a table for 9 guests which we appreciate a lot. The only thing was that when we got out of the restaurant they had vandalized... read more

Had a drink from the cocktail menu that the bartender described as spirits forward, like a Manhattan. It was mostly sweet ingredients forward. Had the ribs since they are apparently a speciality. Soy Ginger glaze was way to sweet and the ribs were way to fatty. Apple slaw was really good.

This place is a gem. Not too large, not too small. Conveniently located. And the food is good! Brunch on the weekends is a favorite of mine. Last time I had the steak and eggs. Very good. Steak was cooked the way I asked for it.

Would have liked to give this a better review however the service was so slow I just can't. From bar service to food service everything was slow. The food though was great, I had the ribs and they literally melted off the bone. If they can get the staff to service tables a bit faster I might go back again... More

Small restaurant a few mins. walk from Moscone Ctr in downtown. Went with friends for dinner. Very good food and interesting /fresh drinks. Good service. Restaurant is small and has a bar. Went early dinner so restaurant fairly empty. On the higher end for cost- not a cheap eat but very good.

Was there with a larger group for dinner. there is a very nice, private area upstairs and back. Was pleased with the food. Well prepared and tasty. Service was very slow (perhaps due to large group). Wines were mediocre

It wasn't bad...but it wasn't great either and I don't think that's a good combination in San Francisco. Our service / wait was long despite having a reservation. Our drinks were luke warm - not a characteristic I'm looking for in wine. I think the Mac and Cheese may have been our favorite. All in all, I imagine we won't... More

We were tired, grumpy and hungry. Chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and a staff member recommended it. The service was friendly and knowledgable and we were made to feel very comfortable. The menu recommendations were perfect and the meals arrived very promptly but without feeling rushed. We left very satisfied and happy. Would absolutely recommend... More

When we arrived, there were seats along the bar area. So my husband and I were greeted by the bartender, then ordered a coke, cocktail, sliders, fries and mac and cheese. Food was Ok, cocktail was very watery and extremely small looking like someone already drank 60% of it and the bartender decided to recycle it for me (sorry if... More

Guys... I really don't know how you guys could have given to this place 4 stars.. Probably you had too much alcohol before eating. Everything it's not cooked well: too seasoned, raw etc... Really not a place for someone who likes and know about food.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
