I went here with two others on business for dinner. It was very pleasant, excellent wine list. Excellent pasta and seafood. I highly recommend the Butter fish. Restaurant is small and quiet so you can hear our conversation. I recommend it.

For some reason there was only one waiter here on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty busy. He was nice and he was doing his best, but one guy can't handle the whole place. That being said, they must have had plenty folks in the kitchen, because the food was delicious. The crowd was made up of a... More

We liked everything we tasted. Was good, authentic Italian food. Delicious homemade pasta. Good service. The tables were close together but otherwise it was a simple but cute decor. Would go back.

Really enjoyed the eggplant balls, the calamari (NOT fried] and burrata appetizers. Decent wine list too. But no specials and 5 bites of tortellini for $18 a bit steep.

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and about 8 other friends. First off, the location is second to none. It is nestled right in the thick all the places that you want to be if you are in this area. I would say that the restaurant is nice. The energy is good. We brought 2 of our own bottles... More

First time trying this place and it is popular so make a reservation. Really enjoyed the zucchini appetizer and gnocchi. Service was challenged as they were really busy, but food was excellent. I would not recommend the street side tables, unless you like the noise and odd people walking by. We did not have desert but the tiramasu at the... More

We went there for our anniversary dinner on a Sunday evening and they weren't very crowded when we first got there but got pretty crowded and noisy later. We sat outside so had some privacy. The food and service were excellent - lobster RAC and lamb and pasta. The chianti was surprisingly dark and the price was reasonable.

This restaurant had good choices of wine and pasta. We had the lobster ravioli and lasagna and both were quite tasty although not the largest portions I have seen. We sat on the patio which was nice, there are heat lamps above so you don't get chilled. We shared the molten chocolate lava cake which was so good! hey take... More

My first visit a year ago was splendid. Superb flavors and choices that took me back to the Italy where I used to live. Couldn't say enough in their favor. Returning to SF for another visit I had Vicoletto on my list. It was a huge disappointment. First, the good things: reasonable prices for North Beach, tasteful setting, a menu... More

On our latest trip to SF, we rented a place in North Beach and just walked to restaurants for dinner. Vicoletto was a great choice for us as the food was great and on a weekday night the atmosphere was quiet (not loud like a Friday night crowd). We had the Burrata appetizer and it was too much food for... More
