Great food and prices and service. Service was fast and efficient, and wait staff was friendly.. You know it's a good place to eat when you see mostly locals eating there.

I have to rate average now. Used to be very busy, but now half empty with workers going through the motions except for the cute Greek looking waitress that has been there for years and takes care of you with attentive service plus a charming smile (charming-charming says Kareem Bey to James Bond). Average American breakfast and lunch with a view... More

Their menu is expansive and we had brunch so some of us had breakfast and some lunch! My husband had a Patty Melt which was done right! Easy to say but in reality very few places do it right. The staff was friendly listen to each order and accommodated the special requests without hesitation. My eggs were done as requested... More

If you want a place to have a good omelette, burger, or many other diner type items that is close to the beach and not that expensive then go to Seal Rock Inn. The food is consistent, so you know what you are going to get and it is always good, not fabulous, but good. It seems to be crowded... More

We stayed at Seal Rock Inn hotel, which was fine, and decided to have lunch at the on-site cafe one day. We were pretty disappointed, unfortunately. They were out of french fries that day and substituted with hash browns. Kind of a gross flavor with a hamburger. My meal was a little nondescript, nothing stood out as being great. Service... More

But not worth a special trip. Good food, American diner, not gourmet. Super omelets that made a great lunch. Good service, decent prices.

Such a treat--and the local sourdough for toast was perfect! Separate business from the hotel, so not billable to your room.

I ate here many times for breakfast during a week at Seal Rock Inn, and once at lunch – but only once because I was working when they closed at 4 p.m. I loved the breakfasts here. Nice portions. Very good sourdough toast. Fantastic hash browns. Solid oatmeal. Delicious hot chocolate. Tasty french toast. All at affordable prices. The setting... More

We stayed at Seal Rock Inn so had breakfast there three different mornings. The first waitress was so friendly, seemed happy to see us, and actually interacted with us a bit, casual conversation. Unfortunately the other two days we had a somewhat grouchy, almost surly waitress who seemed annoyed that we came, and perhaps she'd prefer to be anywhere but... More

This could be one of my only 5 star restaurants, if only the service wasn't always terrible. The food is high quality, and reasonably priced. The tables near the windows offer views of Sutro and the ocean. However, every time I go there, whether it is busy or not, I can't get anyone to bring water or coffee, take my... More
