Yummy desserts with a nice variety that everyone in the family could find something they liked. Ordered them takeout and had them back at the condo after we were les full from dinner.

We sat in the sunshine outside the coffee shop enjoying our coffee and pastries. We were stying at Hotel Boheme above, so very convenient. This is an Italian pastry and cake shop, very friendly and pleasant.

The pastries were okay, but not rave. Once you've had Mike's in Boston, there is a high standard to go by. Have to admit I was a bit disappointed given San Francisco's Italian history. Personally, I think there is a better selection and quality in Little Italy San Diego. Charging by the pound was a bit odd as well. I... More

Stella is a small Italian bakery. We had a good cup of coffee and a slice of very good chocolate cake. There are six small tables so you may not get a seat. There are two tables outside.

Quite a variety of pastries and cookies. $19.95 per pound which I feel is expensive. Everything we tried was only ok. Biscotti was good but nothing special.

2nd time here, and tried a bunch of stuff with our group this time...the black/white cake, tiramisu, napoleon pastry, cheesecake, most of the cookies...every bite was heaven. If you go nowhere else in North Beach, or SF for that matter, this is #1 stop!

We had a piece of the sacripantina cake, mixed berries tartlet and apple turnover. The sacripantina is so awesome I forgot what the others were about. The cappuccinos were authentic and not overfilled with steam milk.

I love that it's just downstairs from my favorite hotel Hotel Boheme. I like that they make the best lattes in the world. And I like that they open at the perfect time each day.

As others have mentioned, this is a great little bakery/cafe in little italy. Cappuccino is great and tried many desserts, all very good, especially the sacripantina.Visited a couple of times and never had a bad experience! Would be nice to have more seating space, but that is nature of little italy in SF.
