Harvey’s could probably survive on its great location and name but it really is a good restaurant. We’re talking simple food but the two times we ate there is was quite good and came fairly quickly. The real attraction here though is the overall fun nature of the place. The people who work there are nice and the crowds were... More

Been here several times over the years. Most of the food is average but the salads are best. A couple of the staff have quite a bit of attitude tho not entirely sure why. It's hardly a 5 star establishment. They're meant to be working in customer service. All the same the location is good for people watching on the... More

We came for a drink before dinner. Nice bar to visit, named after Harvey Milk. Some nice selection of cocktails and local beers. A variety of Bloody Maries to choose from. We also tried Chamtini, our ladies liked it. Good service

For those of us who experienced the seventies in SF, Harvey's will always have a special place in our hearts. Originally the Elephant Walk, I have fond memories of hearing Sylvester belting out his disco classics. I remember the night Harvey Milk was assassinated along with Mayor Moscone vividly. But his memory is very much alive here. Everything here is... More

Ate here a couple of times and both times the staff were very friendly, service was efficient and the food very good. Gets very busy for brunch on the weekend.

My partner and I are on our honeymoon. The first place we visited was Harveys for late breakfast. Everything was great however I hate drinking out of plastic glasses and the restaurant is filthy. Please deep clean the bar & restaurant. I dread to think what the kitchen looks like. Out waiter was very nice but please stop picking your... More

We really enjoyed Harvey's for a casual dinner. Staff were very friendly. The place was busy on a Friday night and obviously well liked by the neighborhood people. Prices are reasonable, and the food was good, although a little on the slow side. I'd like to try them for other meals.

Everytime I travel to SF I make a stop at Harvey's. Not only is it nostalgic in its history but the service is always good and the food is as well. Love sitting by window and people watching on a Sunday afternoon.
