Came at 630 pm Sunday, a few empty tables, altho a line formed after. Formica tables, casual. Mix of asians and caucasians. Good raw spring rolls. Wife had pho with excellent savoury 5 spice barbecued chicken topping, I had very good chopped beef "cigars" rolled up in veggies and thin rice pancakes. Too full for desert. 5 starts, loses one... We checked out this place based on on-line reviews. We were not impressed, a little disappointed, in fact. Food was OK, portions were small. Cash only!

Got a very fussy son and so was dreading this having stepped into the door and seeing the table top cooking going on but I needn't have worried as the welcome was warm and all the questions we had about the dishes were answered with great detail. The food was delicious and my son was very relaxed with all the... More

This small spot in the Tenderloin offers great Vietnamese food, with an emphasis on rolls, which we ordered. All the ingredients are presented at your table, along with some quick instruction in cooking at your table. It was a lot of fun to be able to select the fresh vegetables while cooking thinly sliced raw beef and seafood, then assemble... More

We loved the fresh spring rolls and two versions of the bun. Imperial rolls, vegetarian rolls, roast pork. Well-prepared and attentively served. Yes, the decor could use some updating. We took a tour of the kitchen visiting the bathroom for a handwash. Looks efficient and well-staffed. The beer selection was slimmer than that on the menu. Even so we loved... More

we ate there on a Saturday night and apparently arrived just in time because 5 minutes later there was a line of about 4 tables waiting to sit down. I ordered the 7 flavors of beef and thought it was very good. some of the flavors were a little bland, but I was also unwilling to add the hot sauce... More

People apparently stand in line for hours to eat here. I don't know why the food was inedible. Rubbery and tasteless. There are much better Vietnamese options in this city. Skip it

We come here each time we visit SF. I love to find a little hole in the wall restaurant with delicious food and great service. We found both at Pagolac. It was recommended to us by the front desk at Phoenix Hotel which is just a five minute walk away. It is a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving fresh delicious... More
