I had seen this place on "Diners Drive Ins and Dives", so when we were visiting the Bay Area last month, we were able to check it out. Small place, can seat maybe 20-30 people, but we got there before the lunch crowd and were able to get a table with no problem or wait. The kimchee burrito, which was... More

Both of the HRD locations are small, crowded and hard to find parking nearby. But the Korean burrito is done perfectly. Not cheap, but worth it. I hear the rest of the food is good, too.

HRD just does it right! Their Korean/Mexican/American fusion is really creative yet, so simple in concept. The food they put in front of you will blow your mind! If you're not sure that you'll like this kind of fusion just try one if their Kimchee Burritos. I had the Bulgogi Beef Kimchee Burrito and it was bonkers! I also tried... More

I have been to HRD a few times and unfortunately I live 3.5hrs away from HRD so I cannot eat it as often as I wish I could. The food is a fusion of flavors and concepts... Korean, Mexican, American, Freakin' Awesome. My whole family went the last time and JoJo hung out with us for a little while, she... More

If you're a foodie looking to make the best of San Francisco on the cheap, you really can't beat HRD coffee. I got the Kimchee Burrito with Spicy Pork and my friend got the Mongolian Cheesesteak, and we switched halves of our sandwiches. The Kimchee Burrito was absolutely to die for, but the Mongolia Cheesesteak was a close second. The... More

I don't eat at a lot of dives but this one is amazing. I don't even know what to call it. Part Asian. Part Mexican. Part Korean. It's just ---- tasty. I love the bibimbap salad. I love the Korean Kim Chee Burrito. The line is just insane but I know why --- the smoke from the grill, is just... More

Okay, bad before good. The parking sucks. It's a tiny restaurant, and there was a line to get in. WHO. CARES. Are you freaking kidding me?? This food is incredible. Kimchi burrito? Mongolian Cheesesteak? Our lunch was perfection. It was a perfect meal. My wife and I will be returning to HRD at every opportunity. We live out of town,... More
