If you go back 30 years, this place was phenomenal. It was a tribute to the San Francisco Chinatown community. The food was top notch and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. What the hell went wrong? New management. This place needs a makeover BADLY.

Went there for a wedding reception. Giant room upstairs for large groups, Every item was great. Service was very efficient. Haven't been back for individual dining but plan to.

I'm glad that we didn't see the reviews on this place before we went because we may have missed a good lunch. The concierge at our hotel suggested this for dim sum. He said it was his favorite, and recommended it over the several that I had circled in the tour book. It was an easy walk from the Hop... More

Oh, man... I don't even know where to start. We were the only people in the place. That should've been our first clue. The appetizers were bland and greasy. The dinners were bland and salty (how the heck does kung pao chicken come out bland?). The sodas were flat. Don't waste your money here. Seriously. I wish I'd read the... More

This is the worst dim sum restaurant I have eaten in my life. Since I am asian, I have eaten a lot of dim sum and this is the worst. And we waited a long time for someone to acknowledge that we were there, no water, no tea. Asked twice for water and tea. Will never go there again!

We tried this place because it boasted being the oldest Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. It was indeed very old inside. Perhaps a bit dated but that added to its character. Had lunch. Service was fast but food was a bit disappointing and our sharing starter was really greasy and tasteless. Maybe it was our choice. Expensive for what we had

Drinks expensive..$8.00 shots...happy hour adequate. Dim sum not what I've come to expect . Ok in a pinch.

Fantastic, if you like bad service, rude staff, not all food delivered to table, wrong drinks, below average food, musty smell, rushed to finish meal as they were closing etc etc., apart from that it was fine.

This was the WORST restaurant I've been to in the whole world! SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! The smell of the place was like an old rug that you take out of it's storage after a couple of decades. There was a nice lady who came right away offering if we wanted any of the appetizers that she was holding. We chose... More
