Great Fish n Chips and blackened snapper.

Very good place for dinner. I had the Fish and Chips one night. It was a to go order. Excellent fish if you like flavored batter. A little peppery but I loved it. The fries were perfectly salty. The next night my family had the tacos and the blackened salmon sandwich. Very very good. And fresh. The... read more

Excellent food and service. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the seafood on the menu and had great recommendations. Everything was served quickly. Food was delicious. Waiter was very attentive. Had a nice seating area outside so you can enjoy the day.

We stopped in for lunch at lous. Our waitress was friendly and quick to serve us. We noticed an American family seated next to us and the service they got from the same waitress who was attending our table was phenomenal! Making jokes, laughing, offering suggestions, and asking how they were - we did not see any of that enthusiasm!... More

We decided to have dinner at Lou's last Friday evening. The outdoor seating was not cramped and kept the passing tourists at a distance from the diners. My husband ordered the fish and chips which he really enjoyed. The menu listed a Prawn Louie Salad for $18.95 and a Dungeness Crab Louie for $27.95. But, if I want to order... More

Besides not being able to find our waiter at any time, the food was exceptional. We had the crab cake sandwich, the fish and chips, and the fettucini alfredo. Each dish was so incredibly good.

There are many restaurant choices on Fisherman's Wharf. We past several restaurants after viewing their over priced menus. Granted, their food may be just as good as Lou's, but Lou's was reasonably priced. Crab chowder in a sourdough bowl was great. Grilled Mahi was excellent. Fish and chips is snapper, not halibut or cod -- sounds odd, but very, very... More

While visiting San Francisco I had the pleasure of eating here twice. The first night I sat on the patio and listened to a blues band play inside. I had the chowder, which was excellent, and my server was wonderful. The second time I ate there I was with my wife and we sat inside. The interior was much smaller... More

We ate here on the fourth of July. The food and service were good, not great. It's very similar to a Bubba Gump's, just not quite as nice. Just nothing spectacular, but not a total disappointment. Worth a try if you're in the area and in a pinch.

Always a tough choice of "where should we eat?" When we saw how crowded the restaurant was we knew the service and food must be good. And it was. We had fish and chips, fried prawns and grilled red snapper. We received our food quickly and it was very good. The price was very reasonable also.

The staff was very nice and courteous and attentive. The clam chowder was good, though a little spicy for me. The fish and chips were hot and crispy, just like I like it!
