Nice joint

This is not fine dining. But want a good burger and fries with cold beer and smok'n blues? Hit this joint. Good prices and a nice spot to chill.

If you are looking for great seafood, good service, and decent prices, Lou's is a great choice. Had the cobb salad and fish tacos. Both were great portions and very tasty. Would return.

Between us we had blackened snapper, burger, salmon BLT and mahi mahi. All were delicious, the waiter, who was very attentive during our decision making, suggested we request the mahi mahi 'blackened' too as he liked to eat it that way- he was right it was good. Only problem we had, was once he had delivered our food, the waiter... More

We came here for lunch and felt confident that we could get an outside seat in the shade but the San Fran heatwave beat us and we asked to be moved inside, not a problem for our chatty cheerful waitress. We chose the clam chowder and Dungeness crab bisque, both in warm sourdough bread bowls. Both of which our waitress... More

10/3 2015 We came here for lunch. They did allow our small Chihuahua on the outside patio. They even had a dog bowl but of course our dog ONLY drinks out of her own. My daughter wanted a Cheeseburger so she ordered one for $13.50 that came with fries. My husband ordered the fish and chips $18.95, ice tea $3.50... More

This was our first night in the United States and we stopped here after walking back fro the Alcatraz evening tour. The meal was nice but not spectacular (even the clam chowder which was quite spicy/peppery) and we discovered that meals in San Francisco were expensive compared to Australia by the time you added tax and the expected tip. Looking... More

Really good food, beautiful view of the water front, even if you don't get a window seat. Waiters ,hostess are all very accommodating.

We wandered into Lou's by chance while looking for somewhere to have dinner. It was very full which is always a sign of a good restaurant. We shared a shrimp pasta carbonara dish and some garlic fries and both were absolutely delicious and very good value for the price. Service was very good indeed, there was a band playing a... More

We were walking by and saw the restaurant and heard the music. Decided to go in and give it a try. My husband ordered chicken wings and I ordered a grilled cheese off of the kids menu (thank you for letting me do that). No one could possibly mess up a grilled cheese sandwich, so it was good and the... More

Looking for a place to eat dinner on the pier. Since there was 3 of us we wanted different food options and a casual atmosphere. This fit the bill. The food was great and the waitress was awesome! If you get the pasta, the portions are big. We ended up with to go boxes..We could have shared. Will visit again... More
